Never Wander at Night

[Kaname Shikara]

Ok, well this poem is a bit weird too. I'm sorry if it's confusing or if it doesn't make sense >.< I wrote it within a few minutes at school today. (I didn't want to do work >_>; ) Everything came to me so I wrote it. I'm sorry if it's choppy or anything. If you have any questions as to what something means...etc...just tell me. I hope everyone likes it. ^^

Never Wander at Night

Laying on my back this night
Watching the moon and stars
Waiting for you to come back to me
As I look up, there you are

I stand up with joy on my face
But that joy is quickly erased
As I see your lacerated being before me
And blood drips to the ground

You hold a blank expression
But then your eyes become wet
You wrap your arms around me
Embracing me so, but what should I do?

You try to speak
But it only comes out murmured breaths
Panic rising in your eyes
As someone comes from behind

I quickly pull you away
As you let out a stifled cry
All you do is point and whisper:
"He did this to me, we have to run"

He's covered in blood, but not his own
His face looks nothing but crazed
As he holds up two blades
Charging at us with these knifes...

We have no choice but to run and hide...

So through the trees we go
Hoping to escape before we're caught
Just then a sharp pain in my arm
Well, so much for that

I pull out the knife, more blood now
Then I turn to face him
There's no use in running away
He'll keep chasing until we're dead

So I guess we have to fight...

I hand you a knife
As I ready for him too
"Keep your distance, this wont be easy"
I say as I charge at him

Hacking and slashing and skin flying on both sides
Much more blood is flowing now
He gets behind me and charges at you
Oh how dumb I was...how could I let that happen?

He pierces your heart, you're too scared to put up a fight...

You fall to the ground
In a pool of red
He licks your blood from his fingers
So much anger...I know what to do

Missing an arm and having lacerations everywhere
I can still put up a fight
As this rage burns on
He will pay dearly for all this harm

I kick him in his face
And shove my knife in his gut
As he buckles down
The knife goes through his heart

As he falls, I see I've won
So home I go
Limping as one
brokenhearted soul

I can't believe you're gone...

Even though it has a weird plot, it was really sweet too.
but, the structure is amazing, and the chill that runs up your spine while reading it.
