Solitude

I wait.
Within this darkness
there is nothing.
Within the nothing
there is a void.
Falling embers
dance before my
eyes. I cannot see
them. Nor do I want to.

Her powers are unique and
her emotions aren't guarded.
Why does she care so much
for him? Why would she give
so much energy to another
being? She makes no sense.
