Any anime that has fluid animation, high qual voice acting, awesome BGM, and is set in modern times and is not overtly sexual or romantic will probably replace whatever "Fav Anime" I have today.

My favourite anime/manga tend to be the ones where I really like the cast/characters. Story came second then art.

My favourite manga, in no particular order, would be:
* Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic (have not yet seen the anime)
* Kami no Shizuku (bought the French volumes since incomplete English scanlations and don't know Japanese)
* Chihayafuru (prefer the anime just a tiny bit more because of the beautiful music)

* Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (haven't read the manga yet)
* Hunter x Hunter (like both the 90s and 2011 version, prefer the anime to the manga because of the art)

I only read manga when the anime ended but the manga's still going. I love Kateyo Hitman Reborn!, both the anime and manga. One of my favorites for sure.

Other favorite animes would have to be Special A, Yumeiro Patissiere, and... Black Butler.
