I know you said that you want a book but Rosetta Stones is a very good option and there's many ways to get it, but won't name them.

I was thinking about getting Rosetta Stone to learn Japanese and Chinese. I'm not sure about a good book, but all i can say is read some reviews of the book your looking at. If it has some good reviews, try it.
