Paul Arden (RIP)
There's always something about his books that kept me wanting to read them all over again. He makes me think twice, inspire me to write and encourage me to be better than who I was before. It's effective I think I've changed a lot

Hahahaha
The Hunger Games series is epic....
Clive Barker is definately my favorite author. He writes horror and fantasy for both children and adults. His imagination is one of the best. Hellraiser, Candyman, and Nightbreed are all based on his short stories.
My favorite all ages book of his is definately the Abarat series. Abarat is another world made up of 25 islands that represent every hour of the day (plus time out of time) and the ongoing tensions between the night and day islands that come to a head.
Like many others these days, Stiegg Larsson of course. The Millenium Trilogy was incredible.
As for me, that would have to be:
Eoin Colfer & J.K. Rowling: Author of Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter respectively. I like both of the series.
Stephen King: Master of horror stories. Whew..
Sophie Kinsella and Meg Cabot: Fun and witty romantic comedy novels.
>>Enter My World<<
Thanks to Ms Lucy for this awesome, funny gif.
The person that you are now is not the person that I used to know. You're becoming a stranger that I've never met before. Not liking the change though.
I can't say that I have one particular favorite. As a lit major...I tend to read a lot and there are SO! many good authors out there. But a few of them would be Adam Levin, Phillip Pullman, Katherine Dunn, James Ellroy, Phillip Roth, Patricia Highsmith, and David Foster Wallace. The list goes on and on.
Like @pleasant_disorder , I do not have one absolute favorite. There are just too many authors to choose from! But if I must name a few I am currently in love with Goerge R. R. Martin's writing abilities and will always be in love with that of Kij Johnson's and Gaston Leroux's. Oh, and Victor Hugo's!
Chima, Jane Yolen and Marianne Curley
