I know violence isn't the answer. It's the question, and the answer is yes.
The Cassandra Project by Jack McDevitt and Mike Resnick. So far, not what I was expecting and not in a good way.
Pride and Predjudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith
Pretty Little Mistakes by Heather McElhatton
From A Name To A Number: A Holocaust Survivor's Autobiography by Alter Weiner
^^ I actually got to see this man speak about his experience back in 2009... very moving.
Doctor Who: Beautiful Chaos by Gary Russell
Hence the sig and avvie change that will be coming once I'm finished catching up. :P It's so good so far, and besides, it's Donna freaking Noble! I think she (and Catherine Tate in general) is my biggest geeky fangirl weakness ever.
She has no shadows, and she radiates beauty.
Slender body, and two eyes like ebony.
Her spirit's golden, and her mind's a mystery.
The Spook's Battle; the fourth entry of The Wardstone Chronicles by Joseph Delany.
Just started reading the first issue of The New Avengers by Bendis. It involves a larger part of Spider-Man with Avenger missions, so it might be worth a look.

I am the bone of my sword
Steel is my body and fire is my blood
I have created over a thousand blades
Unknown to Death, Nor known to Life
Have withstood pain to create many weapons
Yet, those hands will never hold anything
So as I pray, unlimited blade works
Quick read first Tithe - Holly Black then The Giver - Lois Lowry
The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, by Victor Hugo.
I never realized he was the author for the book until I did some research after watching the Disney movie. I'm currently about 130 pages in, and dayum, the guy really knows how to use imagery. It's like you're actually walking around Paris, just by reading all the intricate details about every single building and bit of scenery. It's glorious.
Wereworld - Rise of the Wolf Vol 1. by: Curtis Jobling
I thought I give it a try it since I like werewolves.
I'm reading Programming The Nintendo Game Boy Advance: The Unofficial Guide. I want to see if I can make a homebrew, even if the result is a pong game. Just for the experience.
Right now: Valiant - Holly Black. If not that something else from my book self.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian are great books imo.
Fate/Stay Night, Fate Route
Been putting this one off for a looooong time. Never had the motivation to pick it up. I even had trouble completing Tsukihime, for example.

How do you like it? I really loved the series! I know YA novels tend to read very fast...but these ones read too fast. Wahhh D':

Just started the last book in the Mortal Instruments series. I think I'm purposely stalling on getting it starts. Just finished The Chronicles of a Necromancer series.
An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
The Silence of the Lambs and DICE.
Heart's Blood by Juliet Marillier
Watching akuma no riddle.
It's okay, not 'wow' but not 'ehh' either.
He's just a dandy guy, in space.
God and the Philosophers by Keith Ward.
The Mortal Instruments series and The Infernal Devices.
Syren - Angie Sage
