What with Black and White having just been released, I imagine the servers are so congested that this problem will persist for a while. Siggy and I managed to connect, but it did take a few tries and a reset on my part before it worked.

Update: I caught Victini! Only took me 10 Ultra Balls, so not as bad as I had expected.
On a related note, maybe I should slowly let Victini replace my fire starter...

I didn't catch Victini, but I did manage Zekrom in 2 ultra balls. On an ever so slightly related side note, this game has the shortest credits evar...

And, is it just me, or are Critical hits stronger and more populate? It's like I'm being hit by crits every 5min...

I also find myself getting angry often over being KO'd because I wasn't expecting a critical hit.
Also, the random encounter rate is aggravatingly high! I can't walk more than 3 steps in a cave or through grass without having to battle, and I'm too cheap poor to use Repels all the time.

I'm rich enough to avoid that, although I was at route 8 and was being attacked every 2 steps. I never leave a town without repels now.

Btw does anyone know if you can catch Victini Shiny? I know the games are programed so you can't catch Zekrom or Reshiram shiny...

I believe that most people would be experiencing this but still, its quite irritating that your opponent gets more critical hits on you. Sometimes, I feel like the game hates me or something.

I agree that some of the new gen pokemon aren't badly designed but I still think that some of the pokemon are somewhat ridiculous. Also the English names could have been so much better. Oh well, I guess the more you play the game, the more you enjoy it and forget minor problems such as names or designs.

Fully agreed with. Like Tranquill, Pidove's second form, looked stupid imo, but once I say how it looked in the game it was epic. Sorta like Staravvia in a way. Cant wait to get it to its last form. And OMG Karrablast looks shoo cute. *^* I got one from Shinn and I like taking it with me, though I only have two badges so it wont listen to me if I lvl it up that much. *sigh*

and someone gave me a shiny Zorua. =3

Ok, I haven't played the game yet, and I don't know that much about it yet obviously, so my question is, is it possible to trade Black & White Pokemon into HeartGold and SoulSilver? I'd love to see how the Black & White Pokemon look when they are out walking with you.

Its impossible. Do to the fact that Heartgold SoulSilver is part of a previous generation you cant trade new generation pokemon to a older generation.
