Despite me being not a cosplayer and just posting because I recognized her name...
I'm not sure what's there is to discuss...She cosplays, she's been around a while and she obviously made a living out of it...that's more or less...the end, isn't it?

Is that really different than putting on make up?

well not much if you wanted to really go into that, I'm just saying it looks really too much to a point where it's just not realistic anymore. I can get the make up vs photoshop argument. It's just that she looks like a plastic doll and not sure if that's her real face or not.

Never cosplayed myself, either, but I think this girl is rather pretty. To tell you the truth, I didn't even know you could make money this way, but I suppose it isn't any different then any other modeling (unless it is; feel free to cue me in).

Also, has this girl been doing this for a while? She seems to have set up her website nicely.

Well I dunno how big a discussion that is as I dont actually cosplay myself...
But while make up has some restrictions to it, photoshop basically hasn't...
Example on top of my head:
While you can make good for having skin issues by using makeup...you cannot cure like a crooked nose or something...which you can using photoshop...
