It totally depends in where I am; if I am in Mexico, I totally prefer Coke; but if I am in the U.S. I prefer Pepsi.

I know it sounds weird but they have totally different flavors although they have the same name. The Pepsi from Mexico tastes weird but the one from US tastes just fine, same with coke, the one from Mexico tastes just fine, but the one from the US has a weird flavor that I just do not know how to describe (I talking about the bottle ones) (The ones from fountain are another thing)

They use HFCS in the US, and sugar basically everywhere else. Supposedly, that's the taste difference.

yeah, I heard the before, but everybody says something different, for example, a friend of mine says it is because every country uses their own sugar, and that's what makes the difference...

That's essentially the same thing, though, though a bit simplified. HFCS is essentially a form of sugar (well, sweetener), except it has a taste that is quite hard to mask.

I can see where this user is getting at, some sorts of soda can be very addicting, and that's where gained pounds come into play. I still like Coke though, with DR Pepper in close for 2nd.

^Yup. Coke is addicting to me. Been trying to cut down lately...But I don't gain pounds from it. =D Damn macdonalds for making coke their main drink.
