Then they came, ready and willing to plunder
Their armour clashed like heavy metal thunder
The town went quiet as people stood still
Blacksmith in his shop, the miller in his mill
The soldiers crashed into buildings heavy, fast
Their swords clashed, they were built to last
The villagers tried to courageously fight back
But they were outmatched, this was a fact
What can people do against unaltered hate?
Can you climb up such a gradient slate?
Who do you turn to when there's nobody here?
Sometimes you lose those people to fear..
The remaining villagers began to flee
Nothing more here, but viciousness to see
One guy stood, however hopeless it seemed
He was fighting for freedom. And peace. His dreams..
He took his spear and collided with fate
Fought left and right, disarming such hate
Sweat ran down his neck, and his skin grew hot
He didn't listen to his muscles, he just wouldn't stop
He focused and let instinct show him the way
Wouldn't let his home burn, wouldn't run away
Scores of soldiers fell, into the dirt and the grass
But more kept coming, grains of sand forming glass
But just when everything seemed to be gone
A noise rumbled through the village, incredibly strong
Animals deep from the forest had joined this fight
This village had called upon natures might
The tigers, and leopards charged with intent
To defend the natural, to every extent
The elephants stormed through, large and proud
And crushed the metallic industrial soldier-crowd
The eagles dived and swooped inciting worry
The animals turned the tables in a flurry
The guy who stood alone and went toe to toe
Stood amazed, watching this new allied show
The animals had watched this human alone
Saw him fight to defend their home
So they helped out the weak and repelled the strong
Nature took up the fight.. to right a wrong
So when advancement comes
And threatens our land
Look who's watching
They might lend a hand
Nature looks after those
Who look after life
Like this guy
And the animals
Who fought that night..
