What kind of movie would you make?

I entered this contest thingy where we have to make a movie, then I started wondering, what kind of movie would OTHER people make? I think i'd make something amusing with alot of explosions, graphics and physical violence for the men, but still enough of a good story line and charachers to keep girls interested.

What substance would you add to your movie?

It just so happens that I've recently been working on a script/story for a movie that I hope will one day make it on the big screen internationally. The kind of movie I'm currently working on is basically a nationalistic movie. I'll sum up the story briefly(so it doesn't end up being 10 posts worth of text). Basically, the story is about a boy named Cam, who is the embodiment of all Asian stereotypes, and is picked on by a bully. The REAL star is a girl named Kate, the girlfriend of the bully who dislikes Cam and the Asian race. She narrates(kinda like Kyon from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu). Cam develops because of the bully and Kate develops feelings for him, and sees that what the bully is doing is wrong, etc, etc.


Anyways, it's sort of a drama/sci-fi/romance type of movie that I want to do My description is very brief because I'm still coming up with the story ^.^

PS: I bet it will sound a lot more interesting when you go further into it. If you really want to make that sort of movie, then go for it and don't give up man.

But now that i think of it, Elfen Lied pretty much does fit my criteria. I could do without the amnesia though. Amnesia is cliche

Ah, I see. You could borrow ideas from EL, and yeah, amnesia is definitely a bit cliche. But hey, who doesn't pay to see cliche films nowadays? Well, good luck with your ideas

By the time I was finished filming, Tipper Gore's head would have exploded and the ACLU would back away slowly when I asked them to represent me.

As for who would star in it...I don't know. There would be a ton of villains. The hero would probably die within the first half hour, and the rest of the movie would be the various villains struggling for power with everyone else caught in between.

Not sure if we're talking superheroes or what here, but it'd be pretty violent and graphic.

A few years ago I had a dim-witted idea of making an Elfen Lied styled movie about a girl, who grew up without parents and one day got to know who her mother was and that she was raped by some guy from college. Then she discovered in herself the power to kill with only a thought and swore she'd find her "father" and execute him. So she found him. On his own wedding. And managed to massacre everyone, except her actual father, his bride (who, by the way, thought her future husband had been killed) and one of the bride's maids, a journalist. Then the police got on the girl's track. So practically, you've got the girl searching for her father, his bride searching for her to take revenge, the police catching up and the journalist, who manages to find the girl and become her ally due to personal interest in the story.
I'd make it pretty much Tarantino style, with some special effects and computer re-touch maybe, eventhough I know that'll never happen! Non qualified enough <_<

No one likes them anyone cause there so half a**ed now, im pretty sure if someone took the time and dedication to make a truely great one and not use the same boring scare tatics you see in all the horror movie today maybe some people would appericate them again.
