I love Twilight ! I enjoyed the movies, but I prefer the books. The movies missed a few good parts, IMO. My favorite characters are Edward and Alice, and my least favorite character is Victoria. I'm looking forward to Eclipse . I hope it's as good as the book!!!
I really hate Twilight and i think its very stupid and there no way i would read the books or watch the movies. (I don't like how they make it seem soo damn great to be a vampire/werewolf and why he like walking around in the daytime.)
I like Buffy the vampire slayer more and underworld.

I don't really hate though I am on the same page as I do never plan to watch or read it. I have heard to many bad things about it to watch the movie or read the books.

I also approve of Moko's post due to the link she provided. Well done, young one.
Every book, movie, etc. can set up its own rules about vampires and werewolves. There is no set rules about what a vampire can or can't do, as long as it doesn't break the rules it set up for itself.

But what do I know? Apparently, I'm one of the uneducated ones with a head full of rocks being talked down to by a self-proclaimed genius whose mouth spouts out nothing but crap.
I`m not a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer throw backs or youth fiction (unless it`s Where`s Waldo), but that`s just me. Honestly, I don`t pay attention to Twilight.

Apparently most of AF is uneducated, Ayame. After all, he said it himself so it MUST be true.
I tried to read the first two novels, and even though my expectations were very low to begin with, I managed to be disappointed and raged while reading them. Eventually I ended up reading the rest of the plot on Wikipedia and the whole experience somehow lowered my already low opinion of humans.
Pretty much everywhere it "works", Twilight is a ripoff, and it wouldn't actually work even if it wasn't because anyone with some taste wouldn't be able to read the best story ever imagined if it was written like this. I don't know if these people missed some essential reads or read less than 10 decent novels in their lives, but the fact is that calling Twilight a good book is like calling Soulja Boy a good musician.

I don't know, being hot-blooded is kind of fun sometimes. The feel of being able to let your anger out on someone else is relieving despite it being at the target's expense. Regardless, I will apologize for calling you an arrogant, judgmental dirtbag. My reason for labeling you as one before was due to the fact that you referred to some of AF as uneducated. As much as I shouldn't be concerned so much for the feelings of others, it could easily take a blow at someone's pride. I can easily understand judging a movie as that is criticism. Everyone does it so I understand. I apologize for making this matter personal. It was immature and it was wrong on my part, alright? Can we drop this? I would rather not spam this place up any further.
I just think it's overrated as a movie. The only thing that really convinced me into watching it (never read the book) was Robert Pattinson. In my opinion, it's the presence of a mysterious tall handsome guy with a brain, that made the it so popular. Robert fits that role quite nicely. But I'm not a fangirl. Good grief, no.

The book is so famous and popular because an idiot can read it. It is horrible writing! Although the storyline is what makes the whole Twilight fiasco famous. I think it's become ridiculous. Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought the world would end up with "Twi-tards", Or worse..."Twi-moms".
It has become the biggest and stupidest fad I have ever encountered.
Luckly I read all 4 of the books before it became big.
The movie is eh, horrible acting, but it's what the fans like right! It's what makes the money.
Once again, amazing props to the talented Paprika!!
This smile kills....
The vampires are more like super man.
I'm genuinely amazed at anyone who can watch this movie with top-notch enthusiasm till the very end. It is hard to describe how I felt while watching it's long-winded dramatic scenes but I can at least say that I was not impressed. What a bummer.

NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY
'Empty shell' main characters and sparkly pretty boys do not make an entertaining series. I wish when Edward came into the sunlight he burst into flames and ripped out that girl's (she never did stand out) heart. That would be a great ending.
I now know what hell sounds like; I recommend a tactical nuclear strike on my position. Tell my family I love them.
You are very wrong.Twilight.............is better than Harry Potter. =x
I tried to read Twilight, found it boring. I watched the movies and they were okay. However, I do hate the EXTREME fangirls.
Anyone read The Dresden Files? If not,the White Court Vampires sparkle in it,but they are very violent people, one ripped a Black Court Vampire's head off when they messed with her. They also feed off emotions, during intense moments(Sex).
At least Jim Butcher's sparkly vampires are cooler than Twilight's
