If I may add in, Truth...maybe there should be a fair and justifiable restriction on "porting". Maybe something like this...

-Each time you "port", you grow a bit weaker for the day (In-Game). This would, of course lead us to keep track of time but more deliberation and suggestions from the rest of the staff here in PM would be helpful. We can't just settle on this alone. One man didn't write the Constitution alone. It took the participation of a number of individuals.

In other words, certain powers and skills should have conditions for use.

As for LB, I would like to know the duration of the thermal scan and target lock before shutoff and recharge. In other words, how long does the thermal vision last before time expires and recharge time starts? Same applies to Target Scanning...

Skills: Fueled by spicy ramen, AA3 can eat thirty-three bowls in under three seconds. (this creates the fire breathing ability)

History: Hardly anything is known about this strange cyborg...

Personality: It has been suggested by many that AA3 is a defective robot. It has a tendency to make random statements at the most uncomfortable times. It loves to eat ramen, and even as a robotic being, it seems to express even LOVE towards ramen. Though it's worrisome that ramen seems to be the only thing AA3 cares about, deserting enemies or even allies during battle to purchase/eat ramen. (i would post an image but idk how i'm computer illiterate........)

I think you guys are being a little rough on her. Maybe even scaring her away from the forums. I don't see anything wrong with the char. If anything it may break up some tension and besides every good anime has at least one insane character.

GG, the point of any RPG is to take the game seriously according to the implied criteria. If you're going to post a character whose traits and such make no sense whatsoever and in no way really help the progression of the story, then you do not belong in this RPG. To form a character, one must have a good feel for the setting and storyline.

My history that led to my ability to post well and create good characters was a result of the following...

-Diablo 2
-Starcraft: Brood War
-God of War 1 & 2
-Rygar
-Aeon Flux (The game and the series)
-Command & Conquer games
-The Devil May Cry games
-HL and HL2
-Xenosaga
-GITS: SAC
-Onimusha: Warlords
-So much supernatural anime

So do I. D&D, Neverwinter Nights, Neverwinter Nights 2, Knights of the Old Republic 1&2, The Final Fantasy Series, Star Ocean 1&2, and many other RPGs. Sorry, I don't consider Diablo an RPG, it has little to no story and character development is non existent. And from what I read, no where in the story does it say there can't be a goofball. Besides, he put malfunction as a reason which is acceptable. But what do I know, I'm not a GM.

First off, it would be libel, not slander. Slander is the act of defamatory oral statements that damage a person's reputation. Libel is the publication of defamatory statements meant to damage a person's reputation. Second, nowhere did I make a defamatory statement about her. I'm just helping to imply that there are some standards to the RPG. (Criminal Justice Major)

Besides, think about it...Machines don't consume food. Therefore, how can a machine gain a temporary ability to spout flames from the mouth. If the fire was produced out of a flammable gas spout and a small flame, I could understand.

Wouldn't seriousness be taken into account in a post-apocalyptic RPG?

Well you're trashing her character. I don't know about you but I tend to be attached to my characters so I do feel upset if someone trashes them. And yes I agree there are standards but I also know that role playing is fun and a fun character has every right to exist just like a serious one. I've seen robots that eat food, they don't need to but they still do. And yes it's odd but it can also be explained by converting the spices from the ramen into fuel which it uses to produce its flame. As for seriousness in post apocalyptic, I give you Lagan.
