Nyaaa....I think Dean from Supernatural said it best:
"What is dead, should stay dead."
And that's a fact. Really, once the soul is gone-it's gone, and even human transmutation can't get it back. So even if they worked on it-and perfected it-you'd end up with an empty husk of a person. No mind, no personality-no person.

Nobody has ever won a forum fight. You're not gonna get to page 20 and then they/you say:
"Oh my bad! You were totally right! Sorry about that misunderstanding!"

Suppose that Person A commits suicide.
Suppose that, in good faith, Person B successfully transmutes Person A.
Person B thinks they did the right thing. Person A thinks that Person B wronged them.
This example illustrates the problem that, in order to transmute a human, one must assume that that person would want to continue living after they are resurrected.

iif it actuallty worked it would be right. if it didnt it would be wrong, it could even be both.

Well that's the thing....It could *never* actually work. According to the laws of alchemy you can't make something out of nothing...And since a soul, spirit, personality has no physical form-you can't transmute it. So no matter what you did you'd end up with an empty husk of a person. Just a breathing shell and nothing more.
That's not right.

That is tough to say really. It is right on the stand point that it'll help the brothers though it is wrong because it is inhuman to do to someone.

i think it will be right if the transmutation is perfect. for example, i think its a good trade for a young innocent child for a murderer

Well I think it might be both.
If it's actually successful it could be right. I mean you might be saving a life that should of never of been taken.
But what if that person never wanted to come back. IF successful.
If it's not successful, then the end result if your disfigured body. The "body" of the one you tried to come back, but not exactly in tact. I.E. No soul.
And also there's that little homunculus problem.
Once again, amazing props to the talented Paprika!!

[COLOR="deepskyblue"]I tought that Human Transmutation has it pros and againsts but in our real world happens the same: scientists hope to find a cure for diseases and find the elixir of life and wants to bring back to life their love ones, probably there are some people that had died in a horrible accident and want to return to life, but could be others that doesn't want to be brought back to life for any reason and the human transmutation doesn't respect that. Am I the only one who would be worried about the increased strain on world resources that would occur if someone was unethical enough to start raising everyone from the dead? The problem with goals like transmutation is a lot of people don't think through all consequences, both positive and negative.
