Definitely Full Moon Wo Sagashite.It touched my heart the most and that's why it's my favorite anime AND manga series.

Agreed. It's a really sad series when it comes down to it. I haven't read the manga only watched the anime. But I hear they're very different. As far as the anime goes, many times I wanted to cry for Mitsuki. But the ending made everything completely worth it. And it is very touching.

The manga is also good. But a lot darker. You should read it!

But the manga and the anime are so different.
Yes the ending should be more better tho.

Honestly...I prefer the anime ending more. XD A lot of people don't but.......I love it because it makes you cry buckets of tears...HAPPY tears!!
I've never read the manga so I can't really argue the point.
But I loved the ending of this anime also. I was so happy. xD
I honestly thought it was going to turn out sad.
Then I was like "AWW YAY. :3 <33333" It was supercute.
It was like. One of the most touching parts of the whole series.

I agree to this, this show was really beyond anything I've ever watched in that genre, don't know about full moon haven't watched it yet, but I'll be sure to get it

True Tears and Air, one of the few that made me cry beside Peach Girl.
I would have to say Fruits Basket. I mean it is a great story where love takes time to develop unlike a lot of them where a girl has a crush on some guy or the other way around until they both like each other in the end. Rather itb turns out both lovers are confided until latter Kyo finds himself having feelings for Tohru.

Out of all the anime I've watched I'm going to have to say Noir. The ending really is a tragedy. I'd like to stretch the meaning of touched and mention Spiral. That anime really made me think about human nature and the struggle we face. Not just with ourselves but with others as well.
5 Centimeters Per Second. Haibane Renmei. Millennium Actress. Nana. Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal.
For me Suzuka, I haven't read much but I was touched when Honoka broke up with the guy she love for 6 yrs but the guy rejected her & chose the guy's happiness over her own

If I ever need something to cheer me up or inspire me that's the way to go...

Nana BROKE my heart the most. It is definitely the anime/manga that got the most emotional response from me.
Whispers of the Heart also really touched me. It's a really moving movie!
