both claanads hands down for me

D.N.Angel, Katanagatari, 5 Centimeters per Second

I haven't seen claanad yet but I've heard great things about it definately on my todo list lol. Id have to say elfen lied for me. No spoiler but It really gets to me when I see people treated poorly or like animals especially when its kids. I don't usually tear up but almost did a couple times during it lol. Again no spoiler but it really got me on the part near the end with the dad and daughter agh lol![]()

Clannad After Story. I never watched an anime before or after that that made me cry more than that one. It is highly relatable, more so than anything I've ever watched.

ef - a tale of me_o_ies. I'l never forget the feeling when i heared the piano version of Harada Hitomis ebullient future the first time T.T

AIR (I would say why but I'll spoil for people), Clannad and Fullmoon wo sagashite. They were all really emotional but wonderful anime.

I watched a motion film called nine milimters per second it was about the life of two childhood friends and teeneragers love life, it also has some interesting facts about cherry blossom.

I fully agree. The idea of those friends, having faith that they will meet again, certainly touched me emotionally. I do not hope the afterlife really IS like that though... My interpretation is that there's nothing when you die. But I certainly hope I meet the people I loved and cherished during life, again, to spend all eternity together.

Clannad as a whole. It really, honestly changed my outlook on life and made me appreciate what I have so much more.

I'm not gonna get all cliche but Wolf's Rain was very touching for me. I wanted them to find paradise so badly and towards the end, I bawled my eyes out because of what happens to poor Toboe. Saddest anime ever, in my opinion. FMA had it's moments too, especially when Ed and Al lose their mother and fail to bring her back. A lot of you are mentioning Clannad, as well. The episode where Katomi finally gets the bear made me cry a little bit. Haven't seen the whole series but I plan to.

Hatsukoi Limited. It was a really great love story ^^

i could digg an afterlife like that haha

i've tried watching clannad and though i'm sure the story is good, i can't get into it because the art is so damn terrible! the girls all look like they literally have some kind of mental disability. pisses me off.
my choice, Angelbeats. most endings that affect you emotionally seem to attack you and be over as quickly as they began. but i was feeling it throughout the entire last episode. thats what the hell is up!

Hmm there are so many, yet for all time id have to say Whisper of the Heart by Miyazaki. Yet recently I'd have to say that Angel Beats ripped my heart a new one. Holy poop Angel Beats takes your breath away.

I actually cried watching the zabuza arc of naruto when said knuckleheaded ninja saves sasuke

has to be 5 centimeters per second.

Here's the list of anime that I felt my emotions go wild:
Fushigi yuugi
Full Moon Wo Sagashite
Ayashi No Ceres
Elfen Lied
Inu X Boku SS
Kaichou Wa Maidsama
Bokura ga ita (extremely depressing)

Clannad! It was just too much for my heart!
And then also Kanon with Makoto and Yuuichi. Both my friend and I cried thru the whole thing!
And Air was really beautiful in the end with Misuzu and Haruko.![]()

The World God Only Knows.Admist the image of a ''romantic comedy'' there are some serious themes to this show.Sure there is no explicit tradegy scene shown, and it's not trying too hard to make you emotional or cry,but the show did a great job in exploring the harshess of reality in its various forums amist its wierd premise. This anime is ultimately not about who is right or wrong, but what you believe in.That is something unique you can take back form this show.
