Mudkip: Use a better font, be more conscious overall of placement and such, work on blending, and size, for such a small render the signature is really too big, and all the busyness subtracts from the render. I do like the colors though for the most part and the effects, I'm assuming you used brushes, look very neat.

Cyndaquil: I feel like this one is better, as far as technique, yet I don't like the colors as much, It just feels like the render doesn't fit into the background at all though....

Fathers Day: Not liking that one at all, sorry. The colors clash and it just feels too much like a random bit done in paint.


Overall I'd really work on placement, render choice, blending, and typography, you should want to make sure the font and color you choose for text doesn't disappear into the background or stand out too much.

I'm only trying to give you advice you can use, overall I'd say you've done an alright job and before long you'll be doing GREAT.

I really like how you blended the colors well in the Mudkip one and I really like the background in the Cyndaquil one. ^^

Hey thanks guys! Let me try some more later! are there any fonts you know of that I can download for free since I don't have a very good selection. so I should have a picture about the size of cyndaquil but a background that goes with the render... and I'll be back in aproximatley 2-3 hours since I got home work so keep the feed back coming! oh, and any suggestins for a render? Do you think I should redue all of them or make brand new siggnatures?

Ug, I don't think these came out too well.... I tried to make the render blend a little.... I don't think it worked. Please critisize my work so I can make it better.

EDIT: I tried to make the cyndaquill fit in more with the backdrop but I think it only made it worse...

On your pika one it looks like you just blurred him into the background. I'm not liking that very much.

Maybe some tuts on how to blend will help you improve. Your cynda signature is actually the one I like the most.

When you extract the file pull up your control panel and drag them into your font folder thats in there. And they should be in your photoshop when you do that.

First you need WinRar, which is free.
Then your download some fonts (put them all into a folder) then mark the ones you downloaded, right click and choose Extract files, then press the + icon on C - Programfiles - Windows - and press on Fonts and then OK.
And then you have new fonts in PS.
