What in the world is wrong with mathematics? It's fun.

Actually, most of it is so easy it's boring. I never studied math for longer than 5 minutes and the only mistakes I've ever made on my exams were either with calculations (i.e. overly complicated numbers and no calculators allowed or brain farts) or because I've missed the class and don't know what the hell I'm looking at (or, more likely, because my teacher did a crappy job and I was too lazy to thoroughly look at it at home).

4. People who talk to people based solely on looks

Peoples whos tail lights on their car during traffic. So now I have to try and focus on the car ahead of them to see if it's slowing down. >_<

And people who do other stuff when driving. Makes me want to yank the wheel from them. But that my friends is dangerous.

i find that when you add letters into maths it begins to loose its appeal. anything that involves letters, triangles or cicles i just cant do.
for some reason my mental maths is quite good but i have never been able to understand the rest

oh there's a whole list:

dark make-up on virtually everybody said for the few that can wear it
any weird bodily noise that's just done to annoy you
guys spitting right in front of you that's just disgusting
the whole carrying a mountain dew bottle to spit in again disgusting
clipping nails in public
flossing in public
someone not being able to merge on a highway
animal abusers
those who think they're hot when they're not (i.e. the people of walmart)
smelly people
little kids with tangled hair i know it's not their fault but i hate the parents

that's just the start...

Then you need to do more advanced mathematics. In differential equations and functional analysis, there are some seriously long problems to be solved. Granted, they're still pretty straightforward, but it's a lot of work.

They can look something like this. Some applied mathematics, say "solve the wave equation in 3 dimensions for a cylindrical body with initial values as follows (some functions)":

Step 1: Separation of variables (this takes like 1 page of calculations, maybe slightly more)
Step 2: Solving independent differential equations (1-2 pages of calculations?)
Step 3: Fourier-decomposition of initial values (2-3 pages, maybe more)
Step 4: Arriving at a solution (1 page-ish?)

Allowing for some mistakes, it's easy to use 15 sheets of paper to solve a single one of these puppies. Takes maybe 1-2 hours to solve a single problem.
