When I stepped out from
The mountains with a blinding hope,
A hope of pursuing knowledge
For my clueless mind.
When I come to approach
The storming sea with a dashing courage,
I have found myself
Lying endlessly, down at the beds.
When I dug my way through
The bottomless land with a dazzling sweat,
I wished all the way long
that where I am headed, is right.
When I jumped high towards
The blue sky with a continuous leap,
I prayed that my feelings
Will soar through it, to where you are.
When I write this letter
To my dearest daughter with an aching heart,
I hope that my journey will always remind you of me
Even though I may not be by your side,
To watch you grow,
And to give you my love.
Supposedly from a father who has been through the high ends of war. >_>;
