Yeah My First try and I say! Photoshop is confussing!!

I think they are pretty good for your first try at Photoshop, and yes it can be confusing! ;3

Try to work on making the people in the siggys alittle more clearer, like the second one that says "A little knight". Try and make the face show up alittle more clearly, and not so bright. But other than that, you are doing a great job, keep it up. ^^

Those are really nice results for a first try!!

points of you could work on:
- in the first one I would have liked to see more of the character, though you did and awesome job on blending her with the rest
- the second avi....you could have positioned the lighting somewhere else.... Now the character is to bright and the BG goes from brightly lit to dark.. the transition between light and dark should be more gradual, now it just switches from light to dark.... But all-in-all I do like the concept of the sig!

Keep on practicing and don't forget to show us more!!

Well its not so bad to start off i dont think many do well to begin with. For some reason though i dont like the brown background to much but still its not bad. also adding borders always seem to make sigs look a lot better so you may want to add borders to them. Also the avi i think the stripe you have going across it with the name is a tad to much for the avi still also not to bad. However the more you work with it you can always improve and it doesnt matter how good anyone is no sig is going to be 100% perfect even though it may look like it. Anyhow i would love to see more after you play with it a little more also try working on the text also. Still like i said not bad for a first try.

not to bad. a pretty extraction but she is kinda far away so its kinda hard to make her out. Blackbackground is a little plain also not to sure it goes with the extract. Font is a little hard to read and also borders to me anyway is a must on sigs but thats just my opinion. Overall it still isnt bad. practice more eventually it will come to you. :P

Go to Edit>>Stroke.

yes edit stroke makes the perfect size borders. although i wouldnt do them any bigger then 2px.

3+ px makes the graphic look kinda bulgy.

Yukari you are improving a lot from each one you make ^^ the little knight sig is a bit unclear but if its your first try then its good xD The purple one looks great!

I like the 2nd one you did, very much. I dunno, she's fading into the bg and it looks kinda trippy. The words WOULD look better in a different color and placement though...

The first one is nice, but it looks like most of the extraction is covered up. The second one looks a little blurry, but I like the colors in both of them. They're better than my first try! ^^'

Dont worry, you will get used to it. ^^ I was like you when I first got Photoshop. Good luck!

A little suggestion: Download some brush from deviantart (grunge and vector are nice) and also use some filters.

Omg, you have improved so much since the last time I saw your work!

I love the texture effect for the bg, and it compliments the image's outfit.
The text looks a little boring, and their could be some effects around the text in the background.

You have gotten so much better, I'm so proud of you.

It's so nice to be remembered. I didn't think i made that big of a differance to be remembered much.
ANd thanks so much for the advice. I'll try using it when my photoshop is running again AND i get all my brushes back.
