Emotions

A poem i've found hidden as it was abandoned previously but i resurrected it from oblivion. It called out to me and i said "Soul! i hear you calling. Oh please give a little respect to me."


What good is it to feel, for our emotions vary
From Happiness to sorrow, from hope to despair
From love to hate, from empathy to indifference
The good ones you savor, the bad ones you bury
In the dark depths of your heart, away from the world
Hoping to hide the ill-feelings that you carry

Buried away, these wretched feelings of man
Day by day, weeks and weeks, years upon years
Buried away they are but the vile stench lingers
It lets our hearts reek in it, becoming a cesspool
And soon it becomes too late to mend
Letting our emotions conquer, overcome and rule

All I can say is wow. This poem carries a lot of emotion with it. Well done ^^ the meaning of it is that people have so many emotions and they hold in their bad ones until their heart slowly rots away, beyond mending, beyond being able to heal by any help that others may try. We slowly fall into despair and perish in our own ill emotions. I think I'm right...? ^^

emotion hah each and every word has it own emotion and the most thing poet does is place those emotion's and feel those emotion's

Amazing! I agree with what Kirako wrote about it. It had great emotion as the title ironicly states and I must say your becoming a really gifted poet before my eyes. Keep it up sir =)
