I would have to pick Urahara and old man yama
why urahara would set traps and even if the attacker got past them old man yama would surround him urahara and the attacker in a ring of fire so there would be no escape for him

Oh man, the choices are difficult, so many, not fair lol.

But the key would be to pick two people who would compete, and be all rivalry-ish, Like Kenpachi and Nnoitora!

Tora: Like H*ll he is, I got this!

And then it wouldn't even be about protecting me anymore, they'd just want him/her dead! Assuming they didn't get into another fight themselves, anyway.

I would have Orihime for defense purposes. Attacks are not her strong point but her defense in pretty good. She also has healing powers. A very valuable aspect.
My other bodyguard would be Yamamoto. Extreme power.

If it was for pure favourtism.. Hystugaya and Kenpachi.. Though for tactics, I would have Hystugaya and Izuru. So Izuru will slow them down with his blades ability, and Hystugaya has the range and speed to then hit them .
Seems like a plan too me.. ;D

Orihime - she patch me up when I get wounded, and that impenetrable shield is also useful
Yoruichi - she is incredible skilled and intelligent, could get any job done

I would go for Byakuya and Ulquiorra. The impenetrable defence of thousands blades of sembozakura and the speed and strenght of Ulquiorra would be the most perfect/badass combination ever.

I will take Byakuya and Gin. Byakuya can attack and defend at the same time, while Gin can attack possible threat very fast at a range.

Very interesting. but your forgetting two very important people whom are of the strongest in the whole series. Starrk, and kyoraku. Kyoraku is all-around in every way while Starrk is as well. They are the most balanced out in the series. Even tho i mainly pick Starrk cause firing Ceros all day is kind of awesome.

Mainly because both of them are badass and they love to fight xD

In actuality, they're the last two characters I would choose based on preference alone, but they're so hilarious together, I wouldn't be able to help it. Besides, not like Ikkaku isn't strong enough to deal with strong opponents.
