Xbox and Playstation 2 games...

Hello, is there anyone here who seems to still play the normal XBox and Playstation 2?
I have both, and i didn't have a chance to use them, before they did stop to sell the game's...
Is there anyone here who sees that just cause a new console get's out, it don't mean to take out the other, cause i checked the website of a game store, NOTHING were left from normal XBox...

a lot of ps2 games still play good. one thing I hate about all these new games is they are getting more and more too much like playing a movie.

XBox 1 games are pretty much dead and trying to find them can be very hard. That is because of how much more advanced the various engines and other programing platforms are for making the newer 360 games. It gets much more complex then that though it is it in a nutshell. On the other hand the ps2 games are still sold quite abundantly unlike xbox 1 games. If you go to a store like Game Stop or Best Buy you should be able to play them. Though when the PS3 was released Sony said the ps2s and ps2 games would still be good for another 4 years or so. Understandably that time has almost expired and now even the current ps3s don't support ps2 games anymore you need a ps2 to use them.
The other and more close to a main reason for not selling xbox 1 games is simply cause most people just don't want them anymore.

Well, I just bought a new PS2 last week (after 5 years it finally died). I wanted to finish Odin Sphere THAT badly. LOL

Never played the first xbox, but I love my 360. ^^ I think the ps2 will stay next to the TV with the ps3 and 360. I keep that darn Wii in the closet. ^^ lol I Only have 1 game for it. =P

in my opinion the ps2 has the best rpg's so far even though all these new system are out the ps2 will always remain in my heart

The 60 gig ps3 can play all ps2 games, although that model is not in production anymore. You could probably find one on ebay though

I only have an Xbox and a Playstation 2. They've kept me entertained, and probably will for as long as I have them.

I have checked many stores, not even CDON sells PS2 anymore... -.-'
But i found two final fantasy MMORPG games. O-O
XBox is totally still fun, if i had more game's, even funnier, then i could've complete Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring.

PS2 gets regular playtime:
It has most of the MGS series, Fahrenheit, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, the best Tony Hawk games.
I think I probably value my PS2 more than my SNES. That's saying a lot.
I definitely value it more than my 360. Dunno about that once I get a PS3 though.
I wonder when the stage will come when the only place to get PS2 games will be on eBay...

I play the PS2,because it's the only System I have.

I mostly play God of War,DMC 3,and Star Wars: Battlefront 2.

I plan on trying the first Killzone soon,but I can't find a copy in my Blockbuster.

a game informer i got this past summer was talking about the console cycles. in regards to the PS2, sony will continue to sell it until sometime in 2012 and release new games despite the price drop of the PS3.

Have you seen the games that have been released for PS2 last year?Spider-Man web of shadows is a good example,it was a SIDESCROLLER . PS3 and 360 got the one in the trailers.

Another is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2,it was horribel graphics,plus I could not differentiate the characters Daredevil looked like freaking Spidey.

I got a PSX, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Xbox and X360. See the stop of new games as an advantage, the less you play on a retro sys, the longer it will last you

i still love and use my ps2, its getting pretty unreliable as i got it second hand about 4 years ago but it still ROCKS!!!!!!

try Amazon.com for games, you can get them really cheap because not too many people want them. i recently bought Manhunt from there for the playstation, it cost about £5

I found ONE place, of like 3 i've been to, they sold boring games, the only my eye's caught on were a Naruto game i think it was(i have NEVER watched the Anime or played something related to that expect Bleach vs Naruto), else it were like Ice Age 2 and other crappy one's, still it were good that they sold it.
But GAAH! i found a toy gun i wanted to buy once, but it were out of stock, like a Desert Eagle it looked like, also a Glock i think it were under it(they were toy's, the "Desert Eagle" were of metal and the "glock" were of plastic".

i didn't say the graphics or gameplay would be great. i just said that they would be releasing games still...

I still have a PS2 and Xbox original. My PS2 finally broke after 8 years of good service though. I got it working yesterday after jerry-rigging something up.

I actually remembered ONE game that my eye's were specially stuck to, Guitar Hero 5 for PS2??
I actually saw it, maybe buying it if it's still in that store if i get there some time, just gotta frickin' see how to play then... xD

Checked E-Bay and that, man, i found some very cool Bleach game's for PS 2, just that buying from the internet isn't that fun, costs abit, also that i am not sure if my console can take Japanese game's...
