(OOC: This post is for Kera and ExcelSaga, as well as Rein* and sunnyside).
(OOC: I thought only Luke was injured so far? Perhaps I was mistaken?)
(OOC: Hey you guys! If you have yet to notice, I am back!!! I wanted to apologize for the llllooooonnnnnnggggggg delay in responding to this RPG, let alone you guys. School and work have kept me pretty busy, and now that the Spring Semester is finally coming to a halt, I shall have a little more free time on my hands (which I will attempt to fit into my schedule once Summer Semester begins, regardless). Anyway, I missed you guys! I hope that you have been doing well! And now… Onward!)
Asha smiled when Yumi had decided to introduce herself. Joining a group at random was one thing, but being comfortable enough to introduce yourself to said group, was another. This made Asha feel a little better about the whole situation that they were in, and the feeling only increased when Sora responded for her.
“It’s okay. I can ask some of the others.” Yumi then turned to one of the people in the group carrying a bag and asked to see inside.
Asha smiled further, taking note of the communication taking place within her group. It had been a while since she had been a part of something like that. The past week or so had seemed a little glum, and it made her secretly happy to see it picking up a bit – being filled with the motion of life, versus the looming sense of death that had thrust itself upon the island as of recently.
Her attention moved from Kera, to Yumi, Asha observing what the girl was doing. Upon taking that knife out of the bag, she was glad that the girl had enough sense to want to protect herself, and maybe those around her as well, but the thoughtful look that appeared in her eyes, and that had spread across her face, blending into her features had caught Asha off guard.
It seemed, though, that as soon as Asha caught this, her attention was drawn elsewhere, putting the thought in the back of her mind for a later time.
Asha watched Sora as well. It seemed as if the whole lot decided to take note of what Yumi was doing.
Sighing, Asha took it upon herself to let them be for a while, not wanting to disrupt the knew flash of life, or at least hope that had brought itself upon her groups features. Walking away from the group, Asha got lost in thoughts of her own.
She walked over to a tree and sat down – resting a bit as she leaned her back up against its trunk, and a slight breeze seemed to ease any tension that might have taken over for a second.
Sora seemed to be near her now, again, and Asha looked up at her before looking to the ground again, still in thought.
“I saw, and can see, some figures in the distance.” She began, “I am not sure if they are alive, but there doesn’t look to be too many of them.”
Asha looked up at Sora, glancing at Yumi, and then to Sora again before continuing on, frustration streaking her facial features almost instantly.
“Gah! I have no idea what to do.” She said, for some reason, using Sora as her confidence. “Should we charge in with all of our healthy members, should we go and get more help? Maybe we should try sneaking in? Should we go in through the pineapple field, or go around the trees?” It seemed that she was losing all faith in the matter, despite her groups seemingly new up-beat attitude toward things.
“There are too many things that we can do, it makes it rather difficult to decide what the best thing, or what the right thing to do might be.”
Asha looked up at Kera with a look of inquisition on her face.
“Do you have any ideas?” She asked.
Sora then looked up at the dark shadows in the distance.
“You could go around, but that would mean chancing running into more of the creatures. Even my chimes won’t keep some away.” Sora said still looking at the shadows; her chimes ringing loudly, but the creatures didn’t move.
“If we must fight through them, I can help until my energy runs low.” She stated, leaving it mostly up to Asha.
Sora had no place deciding for the group. She could not die, so safety wasn’t really high on her list.
After Sora finishes speaking, Asha stands and turns toward the direction of where Yumi is standing. Looking around, Yumi realizes everyone in the group is looking at her, as if they were waiting for something. A decision perhaps? A hush fell over the area, punctuated only by the rasping breath of the wounded (OOC: Which I still do quite understand. *Laughs*).
(OOC: I apologize for the length you guys! But being gone for so long, I felt I needed a sense of what was going on with our group and a better idea as into what might be happening. So, thank you for bearing with me, thus far!)
