It's a hard shot, but Lucious makes the first on on a running target. The round doesn't obliterate the things head, but it sends a horn flying and it stumbles and falls, seeming to have some trouble coordinating it's actions.

(People could try to attack it in it's weakened state, otherwise there is a window to get out of here.)

The apirition of the young woman smiles and says some things you don't understand, but the tone sounds nice.

You see hands with the large and sharp rocks making specific strokes into the surrounding rock towers.

OCC: Uhh, guys? The van is right next to the upturned one. And @sunny, you mentioned that Jessica was helping Andrew (I thought he was dead O_o) fight off the zombies. But Jessica is currently in the getaway van. And Mana is on top of the upturned one.

Mana scrambled up on to the upturned van. Someone inside was yelling at the top of their lungs and every once in a while the van would shudder violently. One of the windows had been smashed open, and Mana peered inside.

It was a mess of writhing body parts and blood. Mana couldn't make out what was alive and what wasn't. There was no way she was about to go in there. From the sound of it, the only thing that seemed to be alive, seemed to have lost it's mind.

"Hello?" Mana called out after taking a deep breath. But her call was drowned out by another yell from inside the van. Suddenly Saizo appeared out of nowhere and threw the back doors of the upturned van open. Mana rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath, "Why I even bother..."

Her muttering, however was cut off as a huge wolf like dog came bursting out of the smashed window she was standing right next to. Mana stared after it with pursed lips. And a few moments later it reappeared out of the woods with Lucius in tow.

Mana rolled her eyes again and sat down on the edge of the upturned van, letting her feet dangle off the edge. No one seemed to notice that she was there however as they all dove into the fray of what was happening in the van below.

Suddenly the van jerked violently again, and Mana slipped off the edge of her seat. She landed neatly on her feet, and quietly peeked around the van to see what had happened. She noticed Saizo and Lucius on the ground just outside of the back doors of the van. And a burly figure in a bright red and orange shirt stood in the distance. Even in the dark Mana could make out the rips in his shirt. And through one of them, she caught a glimpse of a nasty looking stab wound.

The man stood rigged for a moment before letting out a yell, and sprouting horns claws and...were those blades growing on his arms...? Saizo suddenly sprang in his direction after shouting something Mana couldn't quite make out. And soon after Lucius followed.

"Men are so stupid..." Mana sighed to herself as she went over to the getaway van. She climbed into it and called, "Back up the van a bit Jess? I think they're all far-sighted or something so they can't see us even though we're right in front of them."

"Shouldn't we drive away then?" Jessica asked, but nonetheless she slowly began to inch the van closer to the survivors. She stopped it right in front of Thomas.

Mana climbed into the back and began to fold the seats down, so that Agatha could lay down comfortably.

[Luzifer]

Tace smiles gently at the apparition trying to maintain the good will. His attention shifted to the disembodied hands etching strange motions across the surface of the rock tower.Leaving Ms. Nanalie in Ms. Kaname's care, he moved closer to it and began to gently mimic the hand motions trying to see if the act of doing them could trigger some muscle memory. Or give him a sense of what the hands were attempting to do.

[Kaname Shikara]

Kaname looks in wonderment at the hands etching into the rock. "Nalanie...what are you trying to show us?" She smiles warmly but with a sense of worry in her eyes while looking at Nalanie. She shifts her feet, a little uncomfortable with being away from Tace but continues to look at Nalanie with a smile on her face, trying to see what's really going on.

[Light Buster]

Sam was in a fix. He was being dogpiled by a bunch of zombies. Being dogpiled by people is one thing. Being dogpiled by zombies is another. Sam called for help...

(Sam) "I could use some help."

Jacob began to cut his way to Sam using everything he had in order to rescue his friend.

Andrew couldn't help but think on what to do to take the zombies out. He began to concentrate on some sort of bomb, maybe to blow the zombies sky high. He thought and thought on how to make an explosion even when he's dead.

Walter came to and stood up. He then followed Thomas out. He lost one of his eyes but he didn't have time to worry about it. He made his way out of the van and followed Thomas, hoping that he can escape.

(OOC: I so want to smack Mana sometimes for her retarded, anti-male attitude.)

Lucius smiled at the success of his first shot, taking a horn off of the beast and making it stumble.

"Fair enough...It lost it's balance. That should give Saizo enough time to do something about the beast."

Who would've thought we'd actually see some sort of mutant zombie? This is ecstacy. I love it. Your turn, Saizo. Do something useful.

The dead had all swarmed on Sam seemingly expecting Jacob to continue fleeing. He manages to catch them nearly unaware, landing bone crushing blows on them, previngting them from finishing Sam off.

However now the dead are aware and those that were working their way around the dogpile are now behind Jacob and turning in.

(Essentially Jacob has bought Sam some time, however unless someone else does something drastic rapidly or they get very lucky indeed both are probably screwed. )

She smiles at Tace, and then at Kaname, and replies to Kaname in a friendly manner (though still in a language you don't know.)

She claps as Tace starts chipping away. Then visions of hands appear in both Kaname and Tace's minds again. This time showing the first couple strokes, slower this time and with her forearms in view, on each stroke the angle at which the stones are stuck and the how the arms are held changes.

[Luzifer]

The spirit seemed pleased with his actions... which he wasn't exactly sure was a good thing. He still hadn't ascertained what all this meant, it all seemed vague and having nothing to do with the current terror sweeping the island. But... he really had no better leads. The cave that he had seen in his vision seemed like a good place to go but he couldn't be certain as to its location and their were miles of coastline to search.

He received another vision and his hands, quite apparent from his thoughts, did the motions. It was easy and comforting to sit back and divorce himself once more from activity, letting his body become the vessel of something else. His eyes hung half closed, in a trance, one that was partially self-induced.

[RayCaptain]

The young woman had seemingly fallen, poor thing was terrified from what he could tell. Logan was over within a moment or two, still unaware there was anyone else out here. He had seen plenty of girls like this on the street, usually they were high as a kite if they were out in his neighborhood and you just let them be but this was different.

"Miss? Miss you ok?" Hermes hurdled the last bit of the way and landed in a 3-point stance, "Look you have to get up ok? I'm not like the rest of those people ok?" He took her by the elbow and semi-forced the young woman to her feet, "We have to get moving, can you run or maybe walk?"

It was now that Logan saw the another person a little distance away. The Brooklyn freerunner took a step back and almost completely forgot that Alie was on the ground. I bet that's one of those psychos... Came all the way out here to tear me apart... Logan thought he heard a panicked sounb and remembered the woman.

"Oh! Come on come on! Get up!" There was nothing around to hit someone should they come near... But this was a golf course so somewhere around might be a golf club right? "Come on! We gotta get somewhere safe!" Logan pulled her by the arm as he started away slowly.

Fee managed to calm down as Micheal pulled her down to sit. The silence of the night washed over her. The peace felt reassuring, even though she knew it couldn't last long with all the horrors that were lurking about.

Suddenly, Micheal was leaning in, eye locked on hers. Her heart was racing like crazy and she could feel the heat rising up her neck and into her face. She didn't really have any experience with anything like this. She couldn't look away but instead of the expected kiss, Micheal flubbed the moment with a simple "So, what's up?"

Of course. She shouldn't have expected something else. She turned away as her face blazed in embarrassment. As her eyes searched the night, she could see more of the piles of rocks. Some of them even looked like paths. They stretched along the side of the cliff and reached back into the woods. It looked like they were organized into intervals, like a village. It seemed odd to her for a moment.

"What are all these piles of rocks?" she asked, standing up and moving away a little, just far enough away that the dark would hide her still-bright-red face. "Did you notice them? They're kind of odd," she said, pretending to study them for a moment. "Want to go check them out?" she asked, already moving forward a little.

MICHAEL

With an abrupt turn around and the sudden stand up of Fee, Michael realized he might have said something wrong (Do'h!). But of course he's an idiot, so he didn't realize what exactly that was.

He looked at where she was pointing and didn't notice anything with a bunch of rocks piled on top of the other. Not that it was Fee's fault or anything. Michael never did learn to notice the fine details in life. If Fee could see something strange about a bunch of rocks, there must be something strange about it, but for Michael, the only time he would notice something strange is if said something would jump up and down screaming "I'm strange!!!"

So no, he didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Still, he promised to follow Fee wherever she went, did he not?

"Why not?" He replied with a smile, "Let's go."

He stood up next to her, and held her hand, letting her set the pace as they headed towards the weird rocky area.

[Sr Machinehead]

Nathan looked at the others and said. "Well it's just a suggestion. If anyone needs me or we decide to move just give me a shout. I'm gonna sleep." Nathan then lied down with his hand on his med-bag and shut his eyes in an attempt to get some rest. Nathan gave a sigh as he began to think on the current situation and the best way to escape or survive this terrible island. He then gave a sigh as he said to himself "Perfect island getaway."

[Bandaid X]

Alie, realizing the result and irrationally glad that a stranger had been made aware of her presence by falling, took a couple deep breaths. Letting Hermes help her to her feet, she felt a throbbing in her ankle, from hitting the wood and falling no doubt. But as much as her ankle throbbed, she knew there was no serious damage.

After taking a moment to breathe and get her blood pressure a bit lower, Alie nodded at Logan, "Good idea. Let's get someplace safe!" She had a feeling he meant a building of some-kind, but couldn't think of the closest one for some reason. In the distance she heard crazy yelling and screaming and she used all her strength to keep from looking in that direction.

As much as she tried to think she was only able to keep moving after Logan and breathing. Her fear was intense and her trust was now glued to Logan and Hermes since the here and now was all she was able to focus on was moving quickly after Logan.

(There is a clubhouse on the golf course. It's back in the direction of the hotel. If one of you climbs a tree or hill you could see if from where you are. You could see dead near the hotel, but not out between you and the clubhouse.)

The spirit continues to smile at Tace, briefly she turns to Kaname, motions at Taces hands, starting to chip away at the rock, nodes excitedly and points to Kaname as well.

The visions continue to come showing the strokes to make in the rock and how to make them.

(Note that the spirit cannot control your actions. She is simply able to project visions. However it's easy enough to more or less copy what you see. Also, while he'd have to backtrack to the landmarks he saw, Tace could probably get to the cliff he saw in an earlier vision.)

Walking over to the stones, the somewhat see through figure of the man Fee saw in her vision appears over the stones for both to see. He smiles though. The stones make a low rectangle. The spirit steps back and sits down on a corner. He points towards the middle. There are some seemingly fresh caught fish there, some long pointy sticks, and some collected twigs and wood.

(I kinda failed to mention that Hermes = Logan's nickname ^_^; I do that a lot. Not your fault mine XP)

Making sure that the woman was right behind him, Logan tried to cover as much distance between him and the grotesque sounds. Second in his mind was the weather. Lightning was falling all around them, being near a golf course and all they were pretty much the tallest things around. That was bad in a storm. Hermes led Alie to the edge of the forest where they could hide and rest.

"We have to get to a building ok? I'm sure they store all the supplies somewhere right?" The freerunneer looked around somewhat frantic, trying to keep his head but wanting to hurry up and get out of the storm. Hermes made a little motion for his new company to stay low as he clambered his way up the nearest tree. From here he could easily see a building, the golf clubhouse, but it was back towards the hotel, which was littered with grotesque bodies. With a shiver running up and down his spine, Logan hopped down, "There's a building up there... Not too far either. We could probably get in and barricade a room or something. There might be food too," He bit his lip for a second, "But I'll let you make the call. If you want to go, I'll lead the way but if not then we can continue out across the course," Logan sighed and layed against the tree. His head was starting to clear now and something occured to him, "My name is Logan," The Brooklyn boy stood and stuck out his hand to give a simple handshake.

Fee walked briskly but carefully, watching her step as loose rocks were scattered around, causing potential tripping hazards. As they got closer, she looked up to see the man who had motioned to her at the cliffs edge. He still wore the same smile as a moment ago as he sat on the retangular platform-like pile of stones.

As she looked past him toward the middle of the platform, she saw the fish he had been carrying as well as what looked like kindling and a few long pointy sticks. She stared at if for a moment before glancing back to the man. It almost looked like an incomplete set up for cooking fish.

"Do you want us to do something with the fish?" she asked, looking at the man now, studying him.

[The Rogue Devil]

Saizo heard a shot fired and turned around to see that the zombie stumbled after having its horn shot off. He quickly threw a few shuriken at its head and followed up with his tanto stabbing it through its mouth. The blade stuck out of the back of its head and Saizo pulled it out quickly. He jumped back a little and began to swing his kama in a circle, waiting for it to stand up if it could.
" I've never fought anything like that before." Saizo said breathing hard, " If it gets up again, I'll have to unleash a my secret full burst attack."

[Dr. Hax]

"Let's make number two count by paralyzing the damned thing."

Lucius pointed his rifle at the back of the beasts neck to try and cripple its movement. He smiled and fired, hoping for a hit to sever the spinal cord.

Come on, hit, damn you. This thing's going to die soon. If this thing was some sort of demon or something of that nature, I'm sure it would be in a lot of pain if this round hit.

Michael stands in awe.

The only thing going through his head now, over and over again, was It's a ghost. It's a ghost. It's a ghost. IT'S A GHOST!

"It's a ghost," he said as he stared.

Or maybe it's some weird form of ZOMBIE/MONSTER/WARRIOR hybrid? He squeezed Fee's hand a little tighter, and tries to smell the see-through man standing in front of them, offering them fish.

(OOC: sunny, little help on what the guy is supposed to smell like? Or if it even has a smell?)

[Kaname Shikara]

Kaname see's the hands in her head once more and loses her thoughts in the movement. She looks over at Tace and see's he's losing his thoughts too. Kaname starts to chip away at rocks, like in her vision. She notices something as she's chipping out something in the rock. She looks over to Tace again and sleepily says "What now Tace...?" Her attention focused mainly on the rocks.

Chloe was a bit hesitant, but she did as she was told. She was in sandals, so running wouldnt have done her very well. The idea of getting near...whatever they were petrified her.

Once on him, she clung onto him as if for dear life....since it seemed it was, in fact, for her dear life....possibly both. As it stood, it seemed very possible that if she were to trip, fall and/or attacked by these things, that Azrael would go back after her. The last thing she wanted would be was the cause of his death.

Running after Logan and focusing on not tripping again gave Alie a chance to refresh her mind, kind-of. She breathed deeper while running and the air was being made clean by the rain helped her stabilize. Since she had nothing helpful to say, Alie stayed silent and ducked down while keeping pace with Logan. She stayed lowered while Logan climbed a tree to look around and hoped he saw safety nearby.

When he confronted her with the decision her mouth suddenly went dry and she didn't know what to do. While licking her tongue against the roof of her mouth she heard this stranger introduce himself. Logan. A very handsome name. "Alie. My name is Alice though. So, either-or. Uhm, thanks for letting me... follow you. So I'll do whatever you'll do to keep away from... Whatever those are... Do you know?"

She seems happy as you work on the rock. It's a time consuming process, however before long you find yourself falling into an elaborate pattern of arm positions and stroke angles such that you don't have to focus so much on the visions and can focus on the shape.

You seem to be forming a rather primative (by modern art standards) human shape with a narrower upper torso and somewhat wider hips).

First the figure starts talking to the two of you in a language you don't recognize. It takes a bit, but he seems to realize you aren't getting it.


The figure gestures at the fish and then gestures at you. He points at the pile of kindling and wood and shrugs.

As Daniel jumped through the the trees the zombies followed him further in to the forest he stopped and hid. As they went past he made his way back to the van. Daniel hopped from the trees and ran back to the van to see Mana and Jessica inside it. "Glad to see that you didn't leave us." He said jokingly. "Where are Saizo and Lucius?" Daniel asked.

OCC: That's rich coming from you, Hax. Seeing as how you're possibly the biggest woman-hater on AF. >_> And the only "anti-male attitude" Mana has ever shown was the one line in my last post.

"Glad to see that you didn't leave us." He said jokingly. "Where are Saizo and Lucius?" Daniel asked.

"I considered it," Mana said with a scowl. She motioned outside to where Saizo was fighting the transformed zombie.

"No idea where army dude is, though", she added. "He's probably off having the time of his life playing sniper."

Mana drummed her fingers against the arm of the seat she was in. She turned to Daniel after a moment.

"Say, where are the other two guys that ran off into the woods with the army dude?" she asked.

MICHAEL

Now he's on the verge of fainting with fear.

HE DOESN'T HAVE A SCENT!

Everything has a some sort scent. EVERYTHING. How could this weird see through man have no smell? This is definitely a ghost or apparition of some kind. Michael doesn't know what to do but then the SEE-THROUGH-MAN starts speaking, except he doesn't make any sense at all.

Then he points at the fishes.

Michael knows it wouldn't make sense, but really the first thought that popped into his head was He wants us to be swimming with the fishes! He's going to kill us with his ghostly grip of power, NOOOOOOOoooOOOOOOOoo.

He stands there still watching, while he's screaming bloody murder in his head.
