Since they fight like an unskilled human, if you want you could control a generic risen person that would be OK. I'm not looking to penalize you for interesting writing.

Otherwise ultimately I control things attacking you. However you have a fair bit of leeway in your posts, perhaps describing yourself running around, hitting, or whatever against an opponent. When I get a chance I'd roll up an ultimate outcome.

What does it take to kill the warriors? Are they relatively human when it comes to wounds? Or are they more of the zombie sort that keep coming after you unless you decapitate them?

And is there a limit as to how much damage a character can take? Because personally I don't think even Superman could keep frolicking around after he had been skewered by several spears. Or is that pretty much freelance as well?

Wait. You're taking classes? I thought you had a full time job you liked.

As for the warriors. They go down like people. However after a short while their bodies and equipment turn into a mist. Currently the mist heads toward the main phalanx by the pool.

The risen party goers aren't better fighters than they were before, probably worse, however while their bones can be broken and such they don't stop moving. Destroying their head leaves a body that seems to lack any senses(and is therefore generally pretty ineffective unless it already has ahold of you).

Huh. You sounded like you really liked teaching martial arts. But being a forensic analyst would be cool, and you can get lots of jobs with that major if it turns out that career choice is jammed full of people because of the CSI shows.

Heh. I think I'd just sent you a PM on the subject of points and Karma.

Everyone started with 10 karma (or more if they took the extra Karma advantage). it's used to change how things would go. Smoothing over things like misunderstandings, bad luck on a dice roll, getting ambushed, or it can be used proactively to have some coincidence or other tweak in the story. Just PM me.

Points are used to buy new advantages (10 points per new advantage)

You can get more Karma by picking up the extra Karma advantage once you get the points. At some points in the game I'll likely spread a little to everyone at the same time. Also you could get more if someone else or more likely myself wants to be a little unfair to you. Which I might do if I think it improves the drama sufficiently or somesuch.

However in general it's the sort of thing that will tend to run out all too quick, and then... well, that'll be handled via PM until it gets to the point where everyone gets how player death goes.

so we start out with ten karma points so if we wanted to we could spend it on a new ability and if so if some one got karma advantage would that automatically give them extra karma points?

Hmmmmm. Me thinks I should have changed the terminology.

See I had points in MM, which were given and used in a similar manner.

Karma is new, and I think I've always referred to it as just "karma", not Karma points but I can see how that's confusing, since it's a number.

I think maybe I should start calling the former player points or something.

In any case they are seperate things.

Points aka character points aka player points are used to buy advantages

Karma is used to tweak what happens in the game. The biggest use being to save one's hide from immediate doom or dismemberment I imagine.

character points can be used to buy the advantage extra karma to get 20 more Karma points.

Umm. Showing everyone's totals to everybody seems like trouble, and a hassle at the least.

But I'll let people know when they hit ten ?character? points.

I'll also try and keep people appraised of the Karma level, especially if it gets low.

And you can always ask.

IM SO SORRY!! My net has been out and i've been so busy with Uni. x.x; I won't be able to do anything next week, which sucks, because after that I'm off for two weeks (Readers week and half-term) So, i think i'll have to drop out. Unless i'm knocked out for a while...but a week seems a very long time to be out of it, not sure.

Either way, im uber busy with essays and this stupid new project x.x; Im so sorry i've not contacted anyone untill now.

From the widely spaced line, not the main phalanx. But yes there are at least two warriors within 30 feet of you that are about to enter the little woods, and more already in the woods.
