Description: Curly black hair, green eyes, and fair skin, Adrienne is British and known for her designer short shorts, tight shirts, wedge sandals, and bags most commonly found in pink. She is rather tall and thin, but muscular.
Age: 18
Personality: Adrienne expresses her feelings, sometimes for the better, and is rather bold and daring. However, she is cruel and even heartless to those who cross her, even over the smallest of things. Vindictive and intelligent, she is caring and sweet to those she cares for.
Advantages: She is rather lucky, so to speak. Adrienne has avoided near death experience after near death experience, ranging from ski accidents to car crashes to bombings. Adrienne is also a black belt, but rarely uses her talent. How else do you think she is so thin and healthy?
Flaws: She has a horrible sense of judgement. She tends to get herself caught in sticky situations that only Daddy can bail her out of.
Background: Adrienne is a wealthy Englishman's daughter and so has lived a rich life. Her mother deserted the family shortly after Adrienne was born and moved to America. Adrienne has suffered traumatic incidents. She was nearly killed in a car crash, crashed into a tree while skiing, and survived terrorist bombings. She is forced to go on this "vacation" with her body guard, Sid, by orders of her father. "Daddy wants me to go to this bloody island for a while so I won't be stressed when I go to college." Adrienne departs with her dog, an Akita named Jillie, and Sid.

Name: Sid Hackney
Description: Really big guy who wears dark sunglasses with short blonde hair. On the island, he wears hawaiian shirts, shorts, and hiking boots.
Age: 45
Personality: Loyal. He promised Adrienne's father that he would never leave her side. He's cool and calm and talks very little if at all.
Advantages: Skilled with any means of weapon ranging from knives to bows and arrows to guns to a leaf. He also has great knowledge of nature and can survive in the wild.
Background: Little is known about Sid. He's merely there to protect Adrienne and Jillie. He's been a faithful bodyguard to the Blair family for most of his life. He was an orphan when adopted by the Blair maid, Sandra, who died five years prior. Sid has no known spouses, children, or other family.

Background: Sofia is the only child from a normal middleclass family. Because she didn't have siblings she was often with friends, until a year ago. She stopped being so much with people and spent more time with herself. She has done some physical activity like soccer, running and for the past year cardio kickboxing. Her parents decided to bring her to the island as her present for her 18th birthday and a week after she turned 18 they went there.
Personality: Sofia is a little inwards, and doesn't talk very much, she keeps alot of her thoughts to herself. She tries to help whenever she can. She has a bit of an immature and teasy side. When it really is needed, Sofia will try to stop arguments. She's a little insecure but she tries really hard to hide it, so much that she can seem a bit angry or mean at times.
Advantages:
- "Martial Arts", she can do some kickboxing.
- Mana.
Flaws: She has bad hearing in her left ear.

I can see the confusion.

But her bodyguard is an NPC. Much like Zeus (the dog).

She used an advantage ot have him, he doesn't have his own pair of advantages, and he doesn't have his own Karma, she'd have to use her main characters Karma for him.

That's origionally how Jessica was for you, although since you didn't use an advantage slot she wasn't as potent as Zeus or Sid. I.e. She was like one of Andrews friends.

However as a full player character with advantages and Karma and all she'd have to be played seperately.

Does that make sense?

Background: Loving to travel Yumi had been saving up to go on a trip to Hawaii and finally finds herself there. She had been needing an escape the last year from her strenous life where her parents were big corporate leaders in a chain of resorts. Knowing that her parents did not own the resort that she had decided to stay in made her very excited. She was looking forward to meeting new people who did not know who she was or who her parents were. Any time she went to her parents resorts she never got any peace. Her parents would have her paticipate in all the activities taking place like fencing, horseback riding, martial arts, and variuos others. She was happy that when she told her parents she was going on vacation alone they were against it but that did not stop her. Now she could do what she wanted when she wanted without them breathing down her neck all of the time. She was ready for her vacation to start.

Personality: Very nice, full of energy so sometime can be over powering, very strong in what she thinks is right and wrong and wont take no for an answer

Personality: Strict and uptight and controlling so when she does lose control she becomes a hopeless like Aaron.

Background:

Born and raised in Brooklyn, a kid learns one of two things. Either A: how to fight or B: how to run. Logan got aquainted with the latter, being a less than intimidating kind of person (and the almost feminine looks didn't help) it was the smartest choice. After it just being a way to dodge the local thug, Logan found out about free running or, the proper name, pakour. Through a series of countless conversations, ten or twenty tests, and one lucky break, Logan got into a 'gang' of people who actually were as close to professional as one could get on the streets. With a little honing, Logan became known as Hermes. As the name suggests, he was good at what he did. In fact, young Simmons was good enough to enter a minor competition, which he won, and with the prize money, decided to take a little r&r to a nice island called Lanai Island.

Personality:

Logan is a nervous soul and would much rather run then ever fight; however, he is not exactly a coward. If it is someone else's life on the line then why not show what else he learned on the street corners and back alleys? Fun-loving and always up to make new friends, Logan is fairly easy to get along with (this might also have to do with the fact that he is a follower not a leader).

Advantages: Parkour, Sneaky/stealthy

Flaws: Being the way he is, Logan is quick to flee...even from things that might not be exactly dangerous. Better safe then sorry...right?

Background- With a generally positive first twenty-one years of life, Alice had gotten into a disagreement with her friend about her willingness to have a good time and take jokes well. To make a long story short: Alice had been tricked into going on a vacation alone, and her friends had challenged her to make some new friends. Taking this as a shove out of their 'group' she was feeling pretty rejected for the beginning of this vacation. Thinking that the rare party at Hulopo’E Beach would help her feel better, she decided to go.
Location- Bedroom in resort.
Personality- A generally easy to get along with person, Alie is very nice at first meeting. She genuinely wants to make friends and does her best to meet new people all the time. She does not get grumpy very often and takes people with a grain of salt if she likes them.
Advantages- Speak the native language, Extra Karma
Flaws- Terrified of being alone when scared, can be too scared to move sometimes.
NPC(s)- Alie is a stranger to this area.

Name: Evelia Asha Teshua
i.e. Evelia (eh VEY lee ah) Asha (ASH-ah) Teshua (teh-SHOO-ah)

Age: Eighteen

Picture/Description and Personality Combined: Asha has rosewood auburn colored hair and intrinsically alluring chestnut colored eyes. Surrounding the pupil, is a liquid gold tint that beautifully blends into the chestnut, causing quite a lovely dark-light contrast in color – truly her most mesmerizing facial attribute. Her skin tone is medium beige, and she stands at about 5’8” in height. She is slender, but do not let that fool you. Hidden under her smooth toned skin she is unnoticeably packed with muscle, and a lot of it. Her lips full and stained with a natural pink-red seem to speak some wisdom that would impeccably be sought of an older individual.

Asha is equipped with the language of the island, as well as a few of her own, either learned in school, or during her free time. She had taken some self-defense classes in and outside of school as well, so that way she would be able to protect herself if need be. The reason for this has to do with her mother and some legends that were passed down to Asha from her. Being the person that she was, Asha never fully believe the legends that her mother had shared with her, but that did not mean that she completely dismissed entertaining the thought. In fact, it was one of the many things that she had pondered on in her free-time, or when she read books and stories as a child – letting her imagination get the best of her. But, as she got older that was all she really did – entertain the thought without accepting it. Not being a child meant that she did not want to spend her time dabbling in nonsense, and legends fit adversely into that category.

Asha’s real name is Evelia, and ‘Asha’ her middle, but that knowledge is belittled to most, other than her mother. Evelia is a strong-willed, and strong-minded individual whom often shares her opinions with others, regardless of what they might think of it. If what she says hurts someone in some way though, she does feel the need to repent, and make up for it. So, depending on the person and the situation, she just may do so. Unknowing to herself, Evelia is a natural born leader, and this can cause some conflict with others since all that she think she is doing is being “nice” and looking out for the best interest of others. But this quality just might be some type of self-defense mechanism. Whatever it may be, Evelia has leadership tendencies all the same. Some arguments that may result because of this only amuses Evelia, because although only vaguely, she is somewhat sarcastic. Evelia has what might be considered an "astounding memory" to some. I will try to write more here later.

Who knows what her childhood legends may have in store for her, if anything at all. Regardless, it gives her something to mentally entertain…

The description of Mana from the sign in thread first post is:


"Mana. It is believed that some people are born with more Mana, which is a bit like the stuff magic is made of. Reflecting this, starting players can begin play with some mana as an advantage. However initially they have no idea what it could be used for, or even that they have it. This might not come up for your character in game play, or it could be very important."

Obviously that doesn't explain much. But if it wasn't potentially useful I wouldn't have included it.

Background: Cayenne is a self-trained 'thief'. Being born in a big city, and having little money, Cayenne grew up learning how to take things from other people. Her greatest scam occurred within her own family, when she stole her mother's priceless family heirloom. No one was able to trace the crime back to her, and so she has continued her spree. With the money from the heirloom, Cayenne decided to take a trip, and moved to the island. She continues to steal things, but usually keeps it to smaller items like pocket change. Right now, Cayenne works as a waitress at a random restruant.

Personality: Cayenne is not a quiet girl. With a large grin and a loud laugh, she's someone everyone likes. However, Cayenne does not see how appealing she is to other people, and is jealous of people with strong personalities. Because of her stealing habit, Cayenne always looks for people who have something she wants, personality or tangible item. She is a smart girl, and somewhat suspicious of other people.

Advantages:
Perceptive - Always looks for the exits first, watches people
Tough as nails

Flaws:
Untrustworthy - some locals know it's Cayenne stealing, and distrusts her and spreads that distrust around a bit

I get what you mean with "heightened senses" when you describe paying attention to her surroundings. I'd have fit it under the "perceptive" advantage, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Background: She has come to this island with some friends as part of their graduation trip. She has parents that love her, and a younger sister back home. They can be considered to be fairly wealthy.An incident a few years back resulted in her having split personalities. [We all know how that turned out.] Her father is a police superintendent and her mother an actress.
Personality: Friendly and soft-hearted. Shy at times, she is easily bullied. Surprisingly, she has killed before. When pushed to her limit she can be extremely cruel and murder without thinking about it. This side of her endeavours to get what she wants, no matter what. She is only slightly aware of what she does when this side takes over.
Advantages:
1. Mana
2. Weapon - Katana (Always.)
Flaw:
1. Scared by sudden attacks.
2. Has a soft side for people she thinks she should protect, no matter what. (Does this count?)

That character is fine except for possibly the tiger.

Now if the tiger is in a zoo somewhere else and they're just some background for her to talk about it's a cool bit of characterization. And if the thing is still a "kitten" it's also fine. If you want to ride them around like She-ra on battlecat or something than that doesn't really fit.

Though when I run a magic mixer someday that'd be fine in that setting. The tiger could even have wings and fly.

Regarding the flaws, they're just flavor elements until they come up in play, at which point you might get some extra points or an extra advantage, depending on how relevent they are. For now those are interesting aspects of the character, and we'll see how it all works out.

Background: Shizuka came to the island with her parents, actually she didn't really come, she was forced to. Her parents thinks that she can't take care of herself. When they came to the island, she was surprised to see that her parents gave her her own hotel room. Now she can't wait to see what other exciting things will happen to her.
Personality: Shizuka is a..."different" girl, at least that's what her parents say. She loves to party and she is crazy about "weird" things like spirits and the dead. She once scared half the kids at her school by simply telling a ghost story. She may not look it, but she is a very smart pperson and she loves to read, write, draw, and play music. Whenever she is alone, she would sing or, if there's one around, play the piano. No one knows of her talents though, not even her parents.
Advantages:
-Really flexible
Flaws: She's kind of afraid of dark.

Appearence: large, muscly and tanned. has a swirling green tatoo on his right arm. short black hair and very dark, almost black eyes.

Background: a boatbuilder by trade who came to the island from Italy in search of work several years ago. he has family back in Italy but he hasnt spoken to them is years because of a fight he had with his older brother over some stolen money.

Personality: Glaudio is a straightforward and unsubtle guy , though he is fairly quiet he enjoys the company of others. he uses his immense strengh and physical endurance to protect others. however he has a distrust of technology and prefers to do jobs the "old fasioned way" or not at all, Though he is largely fearless he has a tendancy to act instinctively without thinking stuff through which sometimes gets him into trouble.

Advantages:
Hard As Nails , Strong

Flaws:
Acts Without Thinking, Unsubtle - basically Glaudio hates sneaking around and will go head-to-head with an opponent even when it would be smarter not to.

[Background;;] When born, Ereisipelle had heterochromia. This meaning she has one eye that is of a different color. Her right eye hazel brown while the other consists of a mixture of maya and cambridge blue.
When she was merely the young age of 5, she and her mother were ambushed by a group of males. They succeeded in killing her mother before Ereisipelle managed to escape—allowing her to watch the whole thing. It was her mother's 24th birthday. From the traumatizing experience, she has lived most of her days grieving over her mother's death. She hardly has any friends and refuses to step outside in fear of what might occur if she should. Worried for his daughter, Ereisipelle's father decides to send her away to a 'semester at sea' shipboard program. From there, she finds herself at Lanai Island.

[Personality;;] Ereisipelle appears as shy when you first get to know her. But as you get her to open up and she feels more comfortable around you, you get to understand what she is truly like. Ereisipelle is a cheerful, outgoing girl who just enjoys to have fun. Though sarcastic at times, she is quite friendly and affectionate. Sometimes she loves too strongly but most find her attractive because of it. [Side Note: Beware of giving her candy and soda. She is already hyper enough.]
