Hey guys, I just wanted to ask something. It is that what, if there is no heaven and hell..hmm....simply..nothing?

I mean just think if all these heaven and hell things are rumors and after our death, we wouldn't just exist, then, what?

I get very scared when I ever think so and we don't really have any firm evidence that heaven or hell do exist or after death, our soul will live..

If I am right, then what?

Well, according to me, then, I would just want to live or like hmm..stay immortal..for I really do wanna exist and if it is so then *gulps*...we won't exist...what say?

to follow up my point, as if i had 1, dam i feel a rant coming on........this is why i never got the Reincarnation thing, being reincarnated into a animal or even another human being, you can't remember your former life so whats the point of reincarnation?i guess it could be possible in the What Dreams May Come sense of it if heaven does exist and you choose to live another life or to be born again..........but whats that say about heaven?how great of a place could it be if you would want to get reincarnated?

Again, do your research. Buddhism is not much of a religion. It's a common mistake made by a lot of people. Buddhism is more of a philosophy, but seeing we 'worship' someone you could say it is.

You're too young to be thinking about that, you have your whole life ahead of you. And my answer is simple. If you die, and you were a believer in [Religion X], and you go to heaven, you're golden. You'd have to be a pretty bad person to wind up in hell, so you probably don't need to worry there anyway. However, if you die and you were not a believer in [Religion X], if this God fellow is loving, forgiving, and perfect, you might get a chance at redemption anyway. Maybe not. Lastly, if you die, and there's nothing there, you won't know the difference anyway.

My advice is to be the best person you can, and not worry about what happens when you die. Only worry about the kind of person you've been all your life when it's your time to go. The rest will sort itself out one way or another.

No one really knows what happens after death so it just might be that we cease to exist. Its nothing to fear, everything has a beginning and end. Just feel happy that you got a chance to live as who you are and enjoy it to the fullest.

Even after you die, someone will remember you, so in a way you don't really cease to exist. I mean, we still learn and talk about people who lived thousands of years ago even though they're gone, so does anyone ever cease to exist?

I actually take comfort in believing that there is nothing after death.

I have no problems with people that are religious, it's the fallout of that effect that I find myself disatisfied with. A warping of ideas and such that causes people to basically think that they can justify almost any action. But also, because it seems that nowadays religious groups have injected themselfs into the law process, and while it is /legal/ for interest groups to throw money at the law bodies, it does seem to deminish "sepertation of church and state".
