Yeah...the title might be a bit misleading but what I'm discussing in this thread are things that took WAY too long for me (or you) to realize.
Until I was 8 I didn't know that the E on the dashboard stood for empty.
Until I was 7 did I realize the blinking light on the dashboard was not some magic light showing me where to go, but the turning light.
Until I was 6 I didn't know that my sandals weren't supposed to be tied...because they were velcro.
I didn't know where the chickens on my uncle's ranch went every morning...until I saw Jeff on the cutting board.
