Have you ever brought a game you really wanted, or expected to be really amazing, only to be let down? If so, name a few. I can't think of any at the moment, besides Sonic and the Secret Rings; that was a huge disappointment for me. =/

Shaun White: Snowboarding. I expected cool snowboard action... I got some slow poop :<
Ive been disappointed with a fair few games over the years but most recently Brutal Legend has been a huge let down, Dragon Ball Raging Blast was disappointing too with it's butchered story even though I was expecting it to be crap anyway but it was a step down from DBZ BT3 on Wii also if Assassins Creed 2 wasn't a Ubisoft game I would have been disappointed.
Since you mention DBZ BT3, I'd have to say DBZ BT3.
I hated the new control style. DBZ BT2 was much better.
Dryaxx and Ryuuzaki can't post after each other anymore. I almost called double posting. lulz
Let's see...hrm. I bought Target Terror for the Wii, was hoping for some modern Duck Hunt action like the arcade game. The damn thing was too jerky to be enjoyable. ;__;
Back, by popular demand! Now with new avy.
Fallout 3. It wasn't bad, but I expected a better combat system.
Resident evil 5-It was fun but had no improvement on RE4('cept obviously the graphics)
Fable 2-I thought this one was a joke with all the hype that surrounded it. This was exactly the same combat system from Fable with slightly improved(yet still terrible)raged combat.

Fable 2. I was really disappointed with it, but I still managed to get most of the achievements.
I now know what hell sounds like; I recommend a tactical nuclear strike on my position. Tell my family I love them.
The remakes for Breath of Fire 2 and Tales Of Phantasia. Where's the food bag? ;_;
ooshy ooshy ooshy
modern warfare 2 was kind of a let down. its not that it was a bad game its just that they made it too unbalanced with certain guns. i definately think it was over hyped.
Modern Warfare 2, Halo 3, Brawl (yeah, I said it), Prototype were all pretty disappointing. Prototype was the most by far. D:
Too Human (Too repetitive) and Brawl (They should have really worked more on the online play). Oh and Batman: Arkham Asylum on hard mode. It's not very hard.

Definitely Modern Warfare 2.
Multiplayer is relatively fun, but with all the build up over 2009, it would've had to nuke gamers out of their socks in order to live up to the hype.
Definetly Kingdom Hearts 385/2 days.
I'm totally into KH 2 and KH was pretty cool, too, but KH 385/2 was disappointing from the beginning. I still haven't finished the game yet, because I got terribly bored o.O the opneing was lame, too. Just putting a few pictures of the whole orga with the opening song of KH 2 doesn't work at all (in my opinion) o.O
Mechassault: Phanton War was a huge disappointment, as was Spider Man 2 for the PC.
Also, retroactive disappointment was had when I downloaded Ocarina of Time for the Virtual Console. According to some, it's the best game ever, but in playing it after having played Twilight Princess... Kinda doesn't seem like the best thing since Shigeru Miyamoto first had a vision.

I was seriously disappointed with SFIV too but looking back I should have known it would be bad, SF died with the SNES IMO.
well i think that as far as "street fighter goes",i would say Alpha 3 and 3rd strike are the best ones

Alpha is where it all went wrong for me when they started adding all the poorly designed characters like R. Mika, Sodom, Birdie, Rolento etc.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for GC.... I can't even remember why I expected it to be good.
Also, mario kart wii. Double dash was so excellent, but it just seemed to lack something. Also the inclusion of motorbikes was silly.
Rolento and Sodom were bosses from Final Fight. They appear as they do in that series. They're pretty much fanservice characters, along with Cody and Guy.
Birdie was from the original Street Fighter, albeit in a paler and less chain-oriented form. HE WAS SICK, OKAY? Gosh. Point is he wasn't "added," he was "returned."
R. Mika is a matter of opinion, which I disagree with but respect your opinion.
Visit the Toy Dungeon Studios Store and buy a shirt or zipper pull, damnit!
Tekken 6 (for the PS3) was possible the most disappointing game of the year for me. I had hoped it would be.. less blegh. Azazel is the most unfair and cheapskate endboss ever, and I thought it couldn't get cheaper after Jinpachi who was already overpowered. Normal arcade mode was hard and the story mode was about two new people I didn't care about. The only thing that made it worth playing was the arena.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days (for the DS)...really, why take so long to make a mediocre DS game while they could be giving us a Kingdom Hearts 3. I never finished the game and I probably never will. The game is boring and for DS standards pretty ugly. Not worth the money, really xP
That's all I can think of right now o.<
