When the money flows, in rivers and streams
Wet, drenched soaked pieces of paper
When the guns are buried in the sand
Full, rusty grain filled metal tubes
That's where I want to be.

Screw your wages
Throw down your arms
Read only from pages
No weapons, just alarms
Reduce desire
Walk don't drive
Control your fire
Be happy with 'alive'

When the news shows happy stories
Instead of Labour VS Tories
When the power stations have less rights
Than the people inside them
That's where I want to be.

"I don't believe you"
"You don't see me"
"But it's my right to be.."
"compensated?"
"No.. free.."
Can't see the sense
In looking just to make sense
Big bang/god
I'm happy on the fence

Man woman
Animal plant
Need air & water
Not a suit & a bank
Handbags and shoes
Don't give you style
Heels can't let you
Walk over a mile
Value food air
And mostly each other
Who needs the condo?
When you have friends.. and a lover.

Poems don't need to be long stretches of adjectives and pronouns to be beautiful and true- to have a sense of flow and emotion - or to give a message.
Nouns and verbs work just as well, if not better. Straight and to the point, while still staying strong. That is why you're one of my favorite poets on here.
