Oh geez, has anyone seen trailers for this game??? It looks very impressive. I knew SEGA had it in them to make an RPG like this one. Gameplay, albeit very similar to DMCry, looks hands down awesome. Aswesome weapon arsenal, hair magic system, great soundtrack (they remixed Fly Me to The Moon!! Im dying here xD).

It's not an RPG and Platinum games developed it but yeah played the demo it's a great game.

i played the japanese demo months back and was really unimpressed. Guess i've had my fill of anything DMC or similar

Really??? Oh well, who can blame you. DMC really did go down hill, at least this one has a story.

i'm sure its a great game, based on the reviews so far its pretty good. i just wish the main character looked less freakish since they insist on making her naked so much x_x also hopefully the pacing is pretty good. My impressions are just based on the demo and its entirely possible i went into it with a bias

After seeing this post, I went online to get the demo. The demo was very fun.

Had fun manipulating the combat. The large emphasis on evading made it feel like a mixture of Arkham Asylum and DMC. I'll be getting this one.

I know its made by the director of the devil may cry/viewtiful joe series but man their is absolutely nothing new in this game.

Examples.

Some of the moves share the same name as the DMC series.

The character design and atmosphere is strikingly similar to Bulletwitch.

Also the voice thingy she keeps hearing is a definite rip off of the voice thing from Bulletwhich.

Switching from sword to gun combat, didn't that just happen to another "hot" game gal in Wet?

Also bad gun moves are very similar to Wet,DMC and Bulletwitch.

.....From the demo thats all I could count.....

Also its not an RPG its a Hack and Slash not too differant to the ones we used to see on the PS2.

Also isn't it about time they stopped making video game girls slu.... erm (I should rethink that) suggestive and dressed in such skimpy clothing.

Well I enjoyed the demo when I tried it out a few months ago. I'll get it but I don't know if it's a day 1 buy.

You are absolutely right. No matter how you look at it it does share similar aspects to DMC, Bullet Witch, etc.

But hey, almost every game has stuff other games already have......well, I'd keep Fallout 3 from this discussion.

I gave the game a shot. Honestly if they just called it Devil May Cry 5 I'd still have gotten it.
The only thing that bothered me about the demo was the camera, just seemed a little too...Sparatic.
