i posted a bunch about myself in the introduction topic...
anyways...
lemme know what you think...
i've touched up a bunch of images...
tried to make a nice group pic...

It's very interesting! Most choose a central focus for the wallpaper. However, I think that there is a way to make your wallpaper less busy. For one, you could make the whole thing monotone. This would blend everything together and make it look like it fits. Then, you could add some text like "anime" or some design details like lines or boxes.

an issue I saw was that some of the outlines of the characters (like Kenshin) are not that crisp. Just go over the outlines and make sure they are cut closer. If you need help, just say so!

It's a nice first wall and is one that anime fans would appreciate.

ummmm...well unless i'm mistaken, most of those chara's don't have anything to do with each other so as a group pic it makes no sense. a lot of the pics also need better extraction. the wall itself has no real focus and is basically a collage of random characters.

considering you're a beginner, the extractions aren't bad. i would suggest you pick a particular character you want a wall for and make a bg to fit.

it doesn't HAVE to be of one character or one anime; art is in the eye of the beholder! Since you have so many different characters and themes, you will have to bring them together somehow.

idea for the wall(I hope you like it ):you could group the charas of an anime in a particular area, like:"the comic area(ranma etc)","the science area(eva etc)","the adventure area(kenshin etc)"...giving a particular color to every of the areas ...oh, cut some of them better.

i disagree with akachan (sorry hun! you can still be the ranma 1/2 fangirl of the forums, though B) ) with the color thing. There is already so much going on with the wallpaper that giving it many colors would confuse things. I would go with one color or hue (ie, various blue colors) and then maybe add some funky text.

i've been scrolling through a bunch of mine and i havent come across one i really like...
i hope i made the image a purple-lish blue...
then i was hoping to use a nice sky blue...

Looks really nice with the monotone approach. I personally won't use it as a wall but I think it's nice though (hey~ I do use the walls that people make in this forum! lots of times&#33

the monotone one is better, but i think the text's color is a bit too bright (if compared to the background) and the stroke or glow's color doesnt suit the background

Much better, I agree with Kelvin on the text, you should try to make the stroke/glow a different/darker colour and see how it works out.

i made the "text" darker...
and i tried to blend the "stroke" more with the background...
however...
if i made the "stroke" darker...
