I think you guys will really like my background. I thinks its very appealing visually.
This is a Sig. It's horribly out of date.

When I feel like using a bloated desktop environment (KDE 4.3.2), this is how it looks (screenshots are in the same order as my monitors):
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
That's a pretty schweet set up eris.
And the Background is nice and funky. :3

Sweet looking setup Eris.
What do you consider a non-bloated Windows manager?

Here we are . . . my desktop!~
Exciting, I know. I actually just cleared all of the extra stuff off, yesterday. It was bugging me. Anyway, Sesshomaru forever! ^_^

I've been on an Eden of the East desktop for a while.

How do you figure? If you actually know how to use slackware, it practically installs itself. I personally think "easy" distros are a pain in the butt to configure and maintain, since you have to use their obscure configuration dialogs instead of simple text based config files.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Well, first of all, I hate typing and it is impossible to set up Slackware the way I like it without a LOT of messing with terminal and config files.Of course, whenever I install Ubuntu, I set it up by directly modifying config files (I hate those dialogs too), but I don't mind most of Ubuntu's default settings, as they've been made to suit the average user's needs, whereas Slackware is deliberately set up in such way to require being messed with some more. Basically, Ubuntu is like an apartment with furniture and everything already inside it and Slackware is more like a bunch of bricks and loads of cash. What's better largely depends on the purpose... and I prefer Ubuntu for my desktop.
Next, since everything about my PC is constructed in such way to fully support my laziness, I like the concept of one-click installing and also the fact that Ubuntu repositories are mostly up-to-date.
Finally, in that extremely rare occasion when something gets messed up that I can't immediately fix, it's much easier to find a solution for Ubuntu than for Slackware, and I HATE going around my system looking for and fixing bugs.
I'd also like to add that I was one of the biggest Ubuntu haters not more than two years ago (when I was using PCLinuxOS, the next laziest distro), but I gave it a shot and it seems that it somehow stopped being almost as crappy as Windows at some point.
