Hm, the text is a bit hard to read. Maybe use a different color. And I'm not quite sure about the white outline. Maybe make it more transparent. I do like the background though, and although the arrow seems a bit odd, I like it. Nice sig

I like you pictures, but they all seem to be of more or less the same style. Try to mix it up a bit with other things and try some new techniques :3 It's all about getting out of your comfort zone.

Ooh double post, I feel like a rebel xD. Anyway, last sotw tag. I don't think everyone realized the character's name was Lightning, so I tried to be clever about the theme a bit. But yeah! I like how it came out.

I made a tutorial for it as well, but I can't upload anything on this computer so....~_~
I'm looking to change my style, so expect some experiments soon.

For some reason I like some of your earlier ones more than your latest work. I don't know, they just seem more varied and interesting in general. In comparison to now, I'm not sure. I've been checking some of the earlier pages and your style seems to change a lot from time to time, sometimes for better or for worse.

Either way, you're pretty good. I'd love to see what you're gonna come up with next as far as your style is concerned.

Ohh I loved the one from Sotw 14! I background goes great with it. I also like the sotw 15 one. Everything compliments the render nicely. My only complaint is maybe to have made it bigger, and the animegalleries.net is a bit hard to read.

Also as far as changing styles go....it's going to take some time. Finals are drawing nearer, and I don't have as much free time in class as I used to have. So most sigs now are just rush jobs. I'll spare some thought when I can though.

Thanks, but I'm not sure what you mean by "wow factor". It's always nice to get some feedback after a load of sigs xD

I think you are using too many effects. Like I'm looking at some of your above tags, and I am seeing like everything one could possibly do. I am seeing filters, C4Ds, Brushes, Clipping masks, its really overwhelming your compositions. So, I think what you could do in order to try and escape that, is on your next signature, take only 1 C4D, and that's all you can use; no brushes, no pen tool, no clipping masks. I would enjoy seeing what you can do with just one single C4D, because essentially, that's all the C4Ds you would ever really need in a tag.

Yeah, I always try to cram as much of everything into a sig as possible but try and leave some space so it would seem a little simpler...which never really works out xD. I'm well known for overusing C4D's too, it's a hard to break habit and it's getting to be the same point with clipping masks. I'll get started on that one C4D in a bit, but we're out of school until the 6th...so I can't do much between now an then. But for now I have two more I'd really like some CnC on as well, the first more than the second.

Well well, it looks like you're still using the massive amounts of effects since the last time I checked up on you. Despite this, you are improving.

Very well done with these two signatures. They are both simple but very interesting. The Taylor Swift tag more so than the other tag. I'm always a sucker for tags with simple designs.

The first tag I'm really not digging much. It just looks like a floating head with a bunch of lights coming out of his neck. The background also bugs me a bit. It doesn't really mix in well with the mid-ground and the foreground. Should probably stop using effect C4Ds. They're really limiting on what you can really do with your current talent.

The same goes for the Drake tags. Just a bit too much C4Ds going on. Instead of a severed head, it's a severed arm. Don't get me wrong though. The effect C4Ds really do make the tags visually stunning, but they're overwhelming at times and they've just gotten old.

The three things that bother me the most in the Rin tag are as follows:

• The background is blurred on top of Rin. It really destroys the sense of depth that you were trying to create with the three clipping masks.
• The clipping mask on the left just doesn't seem to fit in right. Perhaps more of her clothes than more of her face and hair. I'm not too sure with this one though.
• The background behind Rin is way too noisy compared tot he rest of the tag. It creates a sense of confusion and disrupts the flow that you tried to put in this tag.

Like I said, you are improving. I'm just challenging you to stop using effect C4Ds and try using shapes. The results are usually interesting.

Thanks! I think I'll try and go for no C4D's from here on just to see what I can do. At the most I'll do like Serated asked and only use 1 max. The C4D's are just so pretty...it's hard to resist xD. The hardest part is when I'm going through a sig, then I can't figure what to do next. At that point I usually add a C4D or two...or three...maybe even four. What I need is a way to take up space and make it look nice at the same time. A few more to add today, then I'll go on and try some no-C4D challenges.


I think I use one effect C4D in this one, but it's barely visible anyway


Never really finished it, but I don't plan on it anytime soon either.


Old but eh...why not.

After this I probably won't have any more sigs for a while due to break (this Thursday to the 6th D:!). I might post some on Thursday, but I wouldn't count on it.

Seems like Serated's style and it looks really nice Hyphen, the only thing I would suggest for some of your signatures are some borders because some seem to be lacking them or their white which probably isn't the best choice for a forum that has a white skin >.>

It's about two weeks old, but I'm not complaining. To be honest the C4D didn't do anything but add some light (the yellow at the bottom) so it wasn't really needed. I also realized that I can do more with brushes+clipping masks than I can with C4D's. So...yeah.
