Music/Bands you just can't stand.

I copied this from another forums "music section".

Just say what kind of music you really can't stand, and give a reason why.

1 - The Jonas Brothers - Face it, Disney got them where they are. If it weren't for them, they would not be known and nobody would care for them. Disney gave the Jonas Brothers the "pretty boy" image. Also, I've listen to there songs. They are not rock, there pop. If you listen to there songs, its just repeated lyrics.

^Now get that guitar our of his hands(the Jonas brother guy)
2 - Solja Boy(or however you tend to spell it) - If I have to hear "Yooooouuu!!!" One my time, I'm going to kick a puppy . . . .twice. I'm sorry, but this "artist" only makes songs to attract teenage girls, and guys who try to attract teenage girls. I'm sorry, but if your selling your music for sex, then thats not right. Thats exactley what he does!
3 - Chirs Borwn, and sound-a-likes - You've all seen them, these people get there 15mins of fame, by dumping out there love for everyone in the world in a song that goes like " Hey you, I want you, please let me be with you, YOU!". Most of these songs are in the 2nd person, so the listener who is listening gets a feel that the singer is directly talking to the listener.
4 - Paris Hilton - . . . . . .do I really need to say???
5 - All these female artists that try to give off a sexy look, sing about sex, and are seen in Teen Magazines! - This includes Beyonce, Britney Spears, Gaga, and othere. These artists will have there singles, but in 2-3 years from when they started out. There fame starts to decrease, and no body cares for them anymore, because there is new "stuff" out there.
This commentary on Gaga's "Pokerface" will explain how I feel about most of this stuff.

Hannah Montanna- her songs all sound the same, and she is no different from so many other pop artists.

JLS- I've heard so many people talking about JLS at school, and it's driving me nuts!

Taylor Swift- I'd pick her better than Miley Cyrus though. I'm also fed up with her songs.

I can't stand any pure country bands, as well as most metal bands (though I think they're popular here). For some reason, Five For Fighting has always annoyed me. And rap with no melody. And boy bands. I'm tolerant of most pop. I actually will admit I like some pop, as long as it isn't too sappy.

Blink 182- TRAVIS BARKER, a drummer? REALLY? Um have you heard of Keith Moon? Barker is nothing!
Greenday -When will they grow up?
Kings of Leon - I like some of their songs, but they're not as good as everyone says.
Paramore - She's not a tough chick just because her hair is red, and just because she's hot doesn't mean they're a good band.

Yeah but Keith Moon can't besides Joey Jordison is better than both of them, on topic I agree with most of the above, all the talentless repetitive crap that people are calling music these days.

^^Some of those bands are ok. Also, with your comment on Paramore. I know people who like them, and don't care about the looks of the band members. That, and there one of the few female pop-rock bands that I know of that doesn't try to be like everyone else.

When Keith Moon played the double bass drum he would switch to a LEFT foot lead. Who even does that? Typically you lead with your right foot, and he would switch during a song!
it's amazing.

I forgot what the rules say about censoring. But the rules clearly says that there shouldn't be any swearing. So that's why there's censoring here. But the mods will fix that.

I agree with N*SYNC & Paramore.

N*SYNC is dead. (So are boy bands today.)

I also want to say this before anyone assumes anything. I would not consider me being a fan of paramore(except for a few songs), but I know some people who are really into it (like my sister).

I can argue about this all I want too, but I would be beating a dead horse, because there your opinions.

I will say this about the band. If you ever go to a concert (If you want to know why I went, it was because I went with a freind who invited me. I said yes) , they really don't pull of a show. They'll play, then when there done the lead singer will curse something out to the staff, and play the next song.

1.Jonas Brother - whenever i see them on tv my hand instinctively throws the remote at the tv xD
2.Miley Cirus - DAMN these Disney artists piss me off
3.Most rap, the only rapper i somewhat listen to is Kanye West (yes he's a jerk but makes good music)
4.Most of the new pop bands/singers coming up that have no skill >_>
5.Green Day - damn their songs are soooooooo overplayed everywhere (their new album sucks) Its made me punch walls a couple of times.

Paramore was popular and got considerable radio play long before Twilight came out.



As for bands I can't stand...99.9999999% of metal (and all ridiculous sub-genres there of) bands, and about 75% of country bands. Also any "artist" who needs a computer to completely alter how they sound in order to be an "artist"...Lady Gaga...T.Pain...Timberland...Britney Spears...Beyonce...etc.

I cant stand pretty much anything that you would hear on the radio, but i can still find artists i respect in genres i dont particularly like. Basically i respect like the 5% of artists that have integrity XD

Any HxC Metal bands (Example: Threat signal) - Half of the time you can't even understand what they are saying, whats the whole point of that? Make your ears bleed?

Any teenage singers - Like Hannah montana and so on, not catchy at all.

Not necessarily bad... In big beat, for instance, no matter how good the song or the vocalist is, it will always sound better with hard snare, phasing and massive digital effects on vocals.
