Whoa, that's a major death on the net. I used to have a page on it ages ago. Old times.
This is a Sig. It's horribly out of date.
The Internet is growing up.

Geocities has been dying a slow agonizing death since the the dot com bubble burst almost a decade ago. It's about time they pulled the plug.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
I never used geocities. I couldn't care less, since there are much better (even ad-less) free hosts out there.

Used it once and I never want to go back. Stay Dead!
Never really thought about or used Geocities. It's just another death without a face to place it to for me. Woe is the bliss of ignorance.
Perhaps the world was never meant to make perfect sense.
I think I had a stupid website there and I didn't know how to delete it so I just left it like it was and hoped that no one would find it... I'm glad Geocities is gone so I won't have to worry about that anymore!
RIP
I used to have a geocities page back in the day. All the respectable geeks were showing off their html skills on their geocities homepage.
i dont even know what geocite is xD !!
There's still geocities-based sites on the web. You can also go to the Internet wayback machine for archived sites:

It was actually pointed out to me yesterday evening that, had it not been for a fanfic site I had on Geocities, I would have never met my wife.
I still think the service was kinda crappy, though, but for sentimental reasons I'll miss it.
