I have ran into a few who have smiled or grinned at me.

I like Chinese people and culture, so why would I give them a reason to hate me? I don't say or do things that would intentionally offend anyone.

When dating Chinese women, are there any Chinese customs I should be aware of or would I treat a Chinese woman the way I'd treat any other woman on a date? I am curious-I wouldn't want to do something that would offend her.

I asked elsewhere, and this is what one person told me:
"Anyway, I'm Chinese-American, and these are the things I don't like:
- unsanitary conditions like dirty plates in the sink
- you CANNOT wear shoes when you're on the carpet!!! CANNOT
- unshaved/untrimmed facial hair
- baggy clothes
- being TOO much into Asian culture, so much that you look like you have yellow fever

Other than that, we're pretty much the same. You can poke fun at us being Chinese, but only if your joke is funny. If it's a failed joke, you will look racist.
Pampering is good."

Others have said they don't like dirt and ignorance, and don't wear black.

Is there anything else I should know?
