Default Any good animes set in winter?

Hi, this may seem like a rather strange request but, I tend to really like the episodes of any anime I watch that are set in winter. Maybe it is because I like winter in real life, or whatever. Anyways, I was wondering what some god animes set in winter are.

As far as the anime itself, I kinda go for anything so... Thanks.

Tokyo Godfathers isn't a series, but still heartwarming even in the winter.

Off the top of my head... Let's see... I think Gunbuster 2 starts in the winter, but most of it takes place in outer space, so that doesn't really count. 5 Centimeters per Second isn't a series (it's a movie, and an incredible one at that), but a good portion of that takes place during the winter. Going through what I have on hand, there really aren't a whole lot of series that take place in the winter. Plenty have an episode or two of the winter of Christmas, but it's really rare for most of the series to be set in winter. A search on AniDB shows that there are only two shows that are tagged with "winter:" Bokura ga Ita, and Tokyo Marble Chocolate.

I started watching Kanon, but stopped, because it was winter themed and I wanted to save it for the holidays. So, that's what I plan on watching once it starts snowing...XD

Besides the ones mentioned, here are some:

Boys Be - A romantic anime with a plot that thematically revolves and involves the four seasons. The first three episodes are set in spring -so on and so forth- until you get to the final episodes which are set in winter (that means a quarter of the whole series is set in winter). You get philosophical quotations as freebies with each episode, more often than not those quotations are related to the corresponding seasons in which the episodes are set.

My Patrasche - Based on the literary classic, this anime follows the struggles in life of Nelo, his dog Patrasche, and his gradfather Jehan. Thing is, our protagonists gets frozen to death thus dramatically ending the story in tragedy. What a way to exhibit the power of winter right? Figurativelty and literally.

The Snow Queen - The title pretty much says it, and it's directed by a favorite of mine - Osamu Dezaki (i.e. Black Jack, Hakugei). Need i say more?

Fushigi Yugi - A reverse-harem romantic adventure anime which you may like or vehemently hate. Some of its episodes are set in winter (i.e. the episodes where our protagonists reach and traverse through Genbu lands).

Persona Trinity Soul - A part of the Persona frachise, episodes are set in winter and snow.

Naruto: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow - It's a movie, the title pretty much says it.

Some titles from The World Masterpiece Theater (i.e. Rem: Nobody's Girl, Princess Sarah, Little Prince Cedie, etc.) involves a couple of winter/christmas episodes. Some of those episodes involves gloomy winters, even deaths of a character or two out of hypothermia or other conditions brought about by sheer cold. Heh...

If you're just looking for winter episodes there are TONS of it, it's fairly easy to find when you do random pickings since a lot of anime especially those which are average-long has a winter episode or two. From Ranma 1/2 to Noein to Monster Rancher to Doraemon, yadda yadda yadda....

Christmas episodes are not uncommon too, you'll get to see a lot. From mecha titles like RahXephon and Vandread, space operas like The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, romances like Urusei Yatsura and Maison Ikkoku, Sci-fi action flicks like Cyborg 009, to stuff like Magikano, Chrno Crusade, Prince of Tennis and more... and of course Itsudatte My Santa. There are also christmas movies for some anime like Love Hina and more.
