Why was the search function disabled? Have I done something wrong, and if I did, what did i do wrong THIS time?

The Search Function
Why was the search function disabled? Have I done something wrong, and if I did, what did i do wrong THIS time?
The search function still works for me. When you say 'disabled' do you mean you can't see the option for it at all or do you get some sort of error message?
