Well, this goes in several phases.
First you have your early teens, your highschool years, when everyone's having their first relationships which...well...are typical highschool relationships.
Then you have your late teens/early twenties when people begin pairing off into more significant relationships.
And finally you get, as my assistant coach once said, the two major waves of marriages, which occur in the mid-twenties, and again in the late-twenties.
"The color fades along the intervals I follow."
Relationships are okay, but they're only great if you're with the right person.
At this point, I prefer to live in loneliness, for the time being. .__.
I just dislike touchy, feely, PDA boyfriends.
I don't roll that way. D;
But, I know some people who act like they can't live without having a boyfriend/girlfriend, and some of them seem like they actually can't.
It works for them, anyways. :P

Actually, I'm seeing more and more people getting married earlier in life, like around my age. Tho I thought that their relationship will last long its still the fact that people are rushing into marriage so early.
What do you mean by "High standards"? Like he must look like Orlando Bloom, Robert Pattison, Ryosuke Yamada with certain personality kind of standards?
Thats what I think when girls say they have very high standards.
Most girls in my community have very high standards as well. Thats probably the reason I never had a gf over here and they never had a bf (well some). I guess the guys here don't have right stuff for the girlies around here.
Don't get me wrong. I've wanted to date girls that were below my standards in terms of looks. Their personalities really got me. But even they wanted to be with a "better" guy. So that left me with one option: Become rich one day. It won't matter how I look, I'll be in the highest branch of society. I'm currently working towards that. Made up my mind 2 years ago.

It seems like a lot of girls just like to be able to say "I have a boyfriend." They go into a relationship so fast, and out of it just as fast. It doesn't seem like they really take the time to think about how much responsibility it takes to have a relationship. Guys can be the same way, I just see it more in girls. I personally would rather take my time and wait until the right guy comes along
But in order for the right guy to come you have to date around to see what your likes and dislikes about the other sex. For example, I use to be into the smart quite girls (kinda still) but after dating this one girl I found them kinda boring after a while. anyway what I'm trying to say is this, just date to see what your interests are and hopefully it wont take too long.
Maybe cuz they are shallow or you are shallow. Problem solved.

Maybe I worded that wrong. Correction I'm MOSTLY unhappy. Last time I felt happy was when I said good luck to someone before she got married. Never felt the same way ever since. And I'll make sure I won't until I complete my life goal. Happiness is distracting, as well many other things.

60% of my close friends are either married very recently, or engaged to be married. They are all between 24 and 26.
From what I've learned, not all girls think the same. I did alot of dating back then and a realized that obviously everyone's different. I've experienced almost every type of relationship, even with girls that were suicidal...and homocidal. I'm with my wife (basically), for 6 years and I'm proud of it, I'd rather have no other. Besides, I've been with enough women anyway, all of which I must say have had some sort of problem. I'm not sexist, just saying the girls I went out with weren't exactly sane at all...but they were also very interesting and I'm still fond of them VERY slightly.

I agree, I just meant that I'm not constantly on the look out for a guy. Like, I'm not just pointing out every decent looking guy trying to get a date, it just seems desperate to me, and I'm in no rush
thats good. you shouldnt be in a rush otherwise itll probably mess up the relationship. but yea , its better to wait for the right guy than just date anyone, but im not just saying to stop dating and wait, cause then thatll be lame. date a few guys , who knows maybe youll meet the right one for you
you have to balance it, know what you want without dating too much
