I'm technically still a noob on this forum, however I've had several experiences on other forums =3

I believe when you join a forum for the first time, you're unsure of how to post and the general attitudes of the forum. Hence, timidness with posting and whatnot. But, as you get to understand how things work, you start posting more and more and get better known =D

In the beginning everyone's scary, you don't know how to act, you're afraid to create threads, and all in all, could be quite frightening.

Of course, this is just me. Most people don't care about their social status on the internet.

lol when I was a noob, on my old account here that got hacked and all that, the worst thread I posted in was my own intro thread, I created it in the wrong section and I felt really bad about it, and my favriot thread on here is the ATM thread and post your voice thread <- I love to hear people sing good or bad it calms me

Back in 99' or so, I was a lurker on planetnamek.com's message board. After a few months, I joined and just did away with my silly nervousness. Two years later (before it's closure), I was an administrator (under a very different handle). So, ...to all MB newbies out there, there's no reason to be bashful. Just be yourself. After all, it's just the internet and a bunch of kids (some adults) having largely inconsequential conversations.

New blood is what keeps these things alive.

When i first joined i was to afraid to post my opinion due to bad reppies or even making enemys when im only new, but now i know a few peeps so its ok. but i wont forget the many times i posted in the wrong section and it got moved, but i didnt get a message or a warning so i thought i was in trouble some how.... there was also the time not that long ago actually i lost the ability to log on due to me being a noob and putting a space in front of my user name, the mods fixed it

I consider my newbie days my Vampire_Ichigo days which were not so good. I made a few dumb threads and I started the Hamtaro fan club which was totally stupid. I repped random people which now I fully understand why to rep and when to rep a person. I always believed I followed most of the rules, but I could of handled some of the forum problems in a better way.

I was a noob here even though I didn't really join for the forum. I was actually going to do something else, but then the forum looked interesting and so I started posting. I remember that as a noob I didn't know how to start threads, so I would often reply in threads and then wanted to start my own topic within the thread. lol. I thought most of the people here were nice and there were a lot of funny people, so that made me post like crazy.

Oh and if anyone knows, I'm using the avi and sig I had from when I was a noob.

When I was a newb, I didn't know anything. I still don't know much, but at least I know how to do things around here. For the longest time, I was all alone trying to figure out how to do things. I had one friend. . . The_Holy_Hunter. Back then, his name was FMPnut. Getting back on track . . . uhm . . . I posted my intro in the wrong section, then I found the intro section and made a different thread. -_- I didn't know where the rules were, so when I happened across them, I read them. I used to do the texting type a lot, but not anymore, obviously. I think what really got me involved with AF was the Poetry section, not the Misc.

Misc is really the only forum that actually gets posted in.

The poetry section gets it's share of posts. >.<

The misc section scared me to no end, while the poetry section had nice people like Sigma, Raiken, Envious Little Rose, and Rein*. ^^ I also used to post in the intros a lot. Slowly . . . I got used to it, here. And Tsuki Moon88 was truly born! =D with my amazing sig by Sh0u . . . and my amazing ava! (waa! I can't find it!)
Heh. Actually, the sig changed from the beginning. It was changed a lot, actually, up until then. But! My ava didn't change until I changed my name to *Tsuki*! ^^ *cough* okay. That's enough babbling. In conclusion . . . I want to be a Newbie, again.

They were these new spoiled and bratty kids of Tetrapods, right, nothing like the calm and polite marine invertebrates that dominated before. They dressed funny and didn't help old myriapods to cross the street.
