Ok, so as I was looking into my astrological sign and I started thinking. Are people really happier being with someone that matches their astrological sign? So as I'm asking myself this question I start thinking back on my past relationships. I realized that most of my ex's weren't astrological compatible with me.

Ok enough of that, here is my question for you. Do you believe that you would have a happier and/or longer lasting relationship with someone that is astrological compatible with you? Or does it not matter?

I don't believe any of this horoscope junk. There's absolutely no reason to believe in star alignment or anything related to it at all. But how are horoscopes so accurate? They aren't. All horoscope writers are able to write a small paragraph that can correlate to the daily lives of nearly every single person in the world.

You are still dealing with health issues, but other important issues are starting to come up. Stick to the health issues first and finish the regimen so you can clear up the problem and get it out of the way. Not dealing with health issues today only means bigger ones tomorrow.

I got that from my daily Horoscope.com and I'm a Virgo. Health? Everyone thinks about health. Their weight, allergies, phantom back problems. See how general it is? And everyone has their own set of "important issues." For me, they'd be reading that new chapter of manga or setting up my new plasma television. for another person, it could be stocks or economic related issues. If you go ahead and read the horoscope for every star sign, you could twist it in a way that it could relate to you. It's very similar to cold reading. It seems scary accurate, but is just a generalization of humans.

So, back to the main question. I don't believe star signs have any sort of relevance or credibility. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason for it to have any influence on your mate or love interest. It's part of human nature to try and find reason behind everything. Why is our relationship so bad? Oh, our star signs are incompatible, let's go with that. No, it's most likely bad compatibility in real life based on tastes, interests, and hobbies. Nothing to do with star signs. Then, why is our relationship so good? Again, most likely because of the actual PHYSICAL details, not what your birthdays happen to be.

I tend not to believe in astrology, at least not in a serious sense.

As for relationships, I don't see why the astrological sign would matter more than the chemistry, personality and all other traits that attract you to a person.

I'm a cancer, and I don't see why being with another cancer would guarantee a successful relationship. I don't think the sign matters, really. You could be involved with a sign that says you are compatible with that person, and have it be a total disaster.

Astrological compatability has the word "logic" in it and love isn't logical. Keep in mind that even a chart which has all your planetary aspects doesn't know how you grew up or what experiences have shaped you. Astrology and fortune telling/divination are 2 separate things.

Compatability works better with friends than someone you're intimately related to. Air and Fire as well as Earth and Water are more likely to share compatability, but it doesn't mean you won't get along regardless of nature. So while astrological harmony is a plus, I don't believe it holds ur ultimate fate.

The reason a lot of people don't "believe" in astrology is because of the image its been given by popular media and...hippies. Magazines/newspapers can't give every reader a specific horoscope. They do it based on sun signs but you also have a moon, mercury, venus and mars, as well as a jupiter, and saturn...at that point tho the influence is more generational than individual.

If my answer to the thread's topic is unclear, I place no more value in astrological signs than I do religion, and I do not value religion.

Oddly enough I married a man that was least compatable. I'm an aries he a scorpio. I can't seem to escape them, scorpios that is. My mother, my ex that I was with for 4 years. I can't stand being with people that remind me of myself too much. I've noticed certain scorpio traits that go along with them all, certain traits I can't stand. The need to be the center of attention, even more so when drunk. Talking big but not backing it up. Being tough at the wrong times. Unable to face their flaws. Always thinking their right. Horrible memory. Bah I still love him tho, he's the least annoying scorpio I've met so far.

The only reason I sometimes follow horoscope is to make myself feel good, perhaps bolster my self-esteem and ego.

As long as it's good I admire it, if it's bad I take it as a piece of trash. But I don't think people become genuinely happy just because they match in the so-called enigmatic astrological signs nor have I met anyone with such peculiar cases. I don't find it logical to consider the outcome of lives of two different indivials just on age-old speculations.

No, birth date compatibility is completely crazy, it's all about the complementary flavor of your chakras. My chakra tastes like tender roast beef in a delicious au jus sauce, so I need to find a women that has a chakra that tastes like a starch, such as mashed potatoes or a Chicago roll.

For me the sign doesn't matter what does matter if they are crazy.Because if you date someone that is compatible with your sign and you find out they aren't right mentally.For example, I dated this one person that was compatible with my sign and I found out that this person had emotional problems and was scared of getting hurt,it was only our first date.
