    Default One Ok Rock

    ONE OK ROCK

    Current Members:
    Takahiro Moriuchi - Vocals
    Toru - Guitar, back-up vocals
    Ryota - Bass
    Tomoya - Drums

    Former Members:
Alex Onizawa - Guitar, left in May 2009.

This rock band formed in 2005, but was officially released under an indie label in 2006. However, the band didn't actually have an official drummer. It was only in 2007 that Tomoya joined. In April 25, the released their first single "Naihi Shinsho", and quickly after that, "Yume Yume" on July 25. It didn't take long for ONE OK ROCK to become a pretty popular band. Considering they're fairly young, it's predicted that they will continue to grow more popular.

The band was originally going to be titled "One o' Clock", since that was the time they rehearsed. However, since Japanese does not have much a distinction between "l" and "r", saying the name sounded like "One o' Crock". This then turned into "ONE OK ROCK".
