There are 4 factions and Unaligned
ACN - Allied Confederation of Nations - The faction that resides on the
Earth Sphere. All Earth Factions are enveloped by the ACN.

ZEON - The faction in control of all the space colonies, the sides, as well as the Plants

MCA - Martian Colonial Authority - A faction that mostly keeps to themselves. They envelop the Mars sphere, and have bases on some asteroids in the asteroid belt.

Jupiter Empire - A trade empire with control of Jupiter, and a set of asteroids in the asteroid belt.
