I tried posting a thread about misconceptions on Jews and Judiasm and it was deleted I believe. I posted my comment here because people assume "Jewish" is an ethnicity when it has to do with religion.

thats true , some people just don't know or rather are not willing to learn
and instead of saying youre jewish , you could say youre Israeli, like i did

both of my parents are Pakistani. My grandfather on my mom's side is Indian though

I have a lot of Scotch-Irish ancestors (Ulster-Scots, to be specific), and some English, Dutch, and German ones as well. The oldest ancestors that I know of in my family were Normans who came from the European continent to England under William the Conqueror. That’s when my last name was first created, so I’m not sure who my ancestors were before the 11th Century.
