What sort of creative person are you?

I come up with many great ideas too, but my problem is execution. They NEVER come out the way I had envisioned. They are usually quite worse.

I'm somewhat the same however a lot of what I've been making has been coming to how I want them to be.

Now to completely render something out of the blue...
That, is something completely out of my territory as I can only do the lame and "so-called-creative" style of making signatures by manipulating other pictures and putting other effects together to make one drawn or human character look "cool."

I'm not creative, but I like to think so.

An idea will pop into my mind and I will completely think it out, not even bothering to write it down. Then, I will start it when I`m bored and there`s truly nothing else I can do. (this doesn`t happen often) If I`m quite interested, I`ll do everything for it, and will do a great job. But, this barely ever happens. Most things stay in my mind and I can change it at any time. I never forget any of my ideas, they just wait until they`re ready.
For poems . . . a lot of them are spur of the moment. I put them in my phone, and they take me about 10 minutes. Sometimes I`ll sit at my computer and come up with one in 30 minutes, but it doesn`t take long at all. (which is why I write a lot, but don`t post them . . . because it takes too long to type them out.)
For drawings . . . they`re completely random. One day, I`ll just feel like drawing. I draw the most between 12 and 4 am. By 4 I`m dead and can barely manage to keep my eyes open. So, I`ll put down my pencil and go to sleep. If I haven`t finished the picture, it`ll take at least 2 more weeks to finish it, because that is when I will feel like drawing again. If I draw on the same picture again, it is a success. Which is why, my sketch book is filled with half done drawings.
Lastly, I write stories. They`re throughout a very long time of thinking, but never manage to reach paper, or in my case, the keyboard. I`ll write half of my story, go to sleep (most the time I have is at night) and get back to it if my computer doesn`t break before then. I`ve created an entire world with characters, and different parts of the story, but I haven`t thought of it in a while, and after I had typed it all, it was deleted. Then, my notebook I wrote it in for back-up was lost. It`s still in my mind, and I can even see pictures that are played out like a movie in my mind, but I don`t have time anymore.

Well, I like to multi-task. I'm very good at multi-tasking, and the quality of the tasks I carry out and complete are very good, too (usually.)

However, due to my mild OCD and the fact I sometimes over-think things and pay a little too much attention to detail (which, in small amounts, can be a good thing), it sometimes stops me in my tracks and I end up not finshing everything i've started. This leads to major procrastination.

Inspiration usually comes from music, and from any other random moment. I do come from a family of artists (painters, film directors, etc.) So, i'm not sure if any of my "talents" come from that.

I am creative, but when I want to draw one thing, it turns out being another thing. Like the pose is completely different than how I tried to make it. But I end up happier with how it turned out.
I alos tend to not finish things that I start. Especially with the hands and feet.

Hmm... I've got a project going in Maya, one going in Photoshop, some unfinished sewing to my left on the floor, an unfinished crocheted doll purse next to it, a pencil sitting next to my sketchbook where I am working on some guro and an unfinished fanfic open in Word.

And I'm also watching a cooking show. Yeah. I'm the multi tasky sort. Though, I seldom have more than one thing going in one program at a time. Unless I'm simming. Then I'll have about seven alphas going at once.

i come up lots of ideas, start them but come up with other ideas and mess the things up...though they can work...but not to my satisfication..

What sort of creative person are you? Can you stick to one project, or do you run around starting hundreds of things that you end up never finishing? Do you put thought into what you're going to do, or do you simply come up with stuff as you go along?

I actually have a drive to do everything at the same time, but I also suffer from not being able to excuse myself in front of myself, so it all has to be 100% all the time, and pronto

It's tough, but I don't seem to be suffering from any stress-related diseases, yet.

I usually just get struck by some idea, start and stop sometime. After that I usually have to force me to do something and still won't get done -_-'' Then some other idea comes up, start, stop. The ideas pile up and I get lazier and lazier =d Stupid I know.

I think Im some what creative.
For writing I will think of a story plot, then make up the characters and their personalities but then never fully write the story. I might write an intro but that's about it.
Then for drawing my inspration usually comes from mangas. I will see a character that is really well drawn and I'll want to draw that character.
Some time i even design different outfits in my mind and attempt to draw them but I wont be able to put the image in my mind on the paper and just give up xP.

I'm a da-vinci style creative person. I come up with lots of great ideas, but I rarely carry them through (case in point, that game I was working on last X mas), because just as I've gotten started, I come up with a new and better idea.

I also don't think ahead all that much. I wing it when I do stuff.

the only creative "discipline" i really pursue these days is my music. as a guitarist i'm pretty gung-ho about things. I'm very undisciplined and just follow my guts and see what riffs flow out of me. i prefer playing with like minded musicians.

i once had a jam session with a bass player who is the EXACT opposite of me. he was a huge music theory buff and played ridiculous jazz i could probably never comprehend. but he couldnt "jam" worth crap. it ended with me yelling at him "just play something damn it! look i just made up a riff lets start jamming!". he said he'd go home to write his parts...probably slaving over charts and diagrams. never played with him again

For example, NaNoWriMo! I can write most of the year (start but not finish), but during this event I write (and finish) so much more.

Me too! I have completed two novels through participation in NaNoWriMo ^_^ Other novels drag on for years before completion- pooh! But short stories, I can always complete quickly, and same for poetry. For me, it is the editing that takes so long! In short stories- everything seems to always end up having been halved in length!

I have lots of great ideas..I don't implement them all at once i research and schedule the best time to start each project. i still end up not completing them all but i usual decide before i start them whether or not i'll be able to do it..so some project don't make it out of the design phase...

Well, I created a television show synopsis and I hear back from a major New Zealand production company on September 9th to see if they like the idea and want to make it into a proper series; that right there is the most creative work I've ever produced.

I'm a musician, so a lot of my creativity comes from interpreting other peoples work and putting my own spin on it. Being expressive is something that takes a lot of work for me, but I've definitely improved since I've been in college.

In other areas, I'm very similar to a lot of you. I get lots of ideas, sometimes they keep me up at night lol. I'm not very good at carrying them out though because they're either unrealistic or I simply don't have the time.

When I'm in a good mood (all the time) I'm a good creative person.I like new ideas that sound interesting. I like that kind of stuff.
