I'm looking for a romance anime, but nothing too sickly sweet. Maybe some comedy or action or something else tagged along. I came across a very short, 1 season anime randomly surfing the web the other day named, Kaze no Stigma.

So I wanna watch/read a comedy romance with a tsundere in it. Not too serious with the mushy romance but it contains a good story about how their realtionship forms, how the love interests get together, etc.

I watched School Rumble and Toradora! and loved them (as well as Eri and Taiga).

Any suggestions?

Alright guys if you could be so helpful, Im really picky with my romance. I guess you could say I like some with a good backstory or "real" love and also it to be in pretty good graphic quality and now 80s style, unless its just THAT good. I also get frustrated if there isnt an actual "kiss", per say, scene because then anime is just a tease to me. (excluding Betrayal knows my name, because Luka makes up for it) :P So if you could be so kind as to point me in the right direction to my next romance anime it would be much appreciated.

I recomend Strawberry Panic. Most romantic anime ever in my opinion. Failing that, try Shuffle! It's so weird. The girls are nice to one another, nobody goes psycho, even when the guy picks on of them, their dad's aren't psychotically over protective, and everyone acts like a mature adult... freaky.

Nagasarete Airantou. It is HILARIOUS!

Pretty much, a boy runs away from home by traveling on a boat, but a storm destroys the ship and he is found on an island. The island is full of females who want him and compete with each other to gain his love. However, the boy Ikuto is very shy about making physical contact with the feminine figure and often faints from severe nosebleeds, although he does occasionally show his love for one of the girls (Suzu).

clannad and clannad afterstory have romance and action in them also toradora i would recommend these they are some of the best anime ever released in my opinion hopefully you will agree oh and aria the scarlett ammo is new one which has guns,love and fighting I thinks its called something else as well in japanese but just search it on www.watchanimeon.com

I would highly recommend Kimi Ni Todoke. Of all the romance anime I've seen, it's the best so far. I guess find that the love is so sweet and the bond between the friends is so strong that it's almost love. No offense yeah.

Hi everyone!
Maybe, I'm asking a weird question, but I'm really curious about the existence of a male character that I want to see SO MUCH!
The problem is - characters like this are only common inhard style yaoi manga >__< And I don't really like yaoi, I wish to watch an anime or manga with a guy like this, who is in love with a girl T__T

He is tan skinned Osaka/Okinawa type guy, with a voice/manner of speach of Tohji from Evangelion. He is funny, strong and a bit... um... well, he isn't too smart lol ^^
He has very short black hair - buzz cut or something like that. He might be a school bad guy or a sport-type dude, like to fight, shounen manga, video games and other stuff like that. And he is in love with a nice girl and saves her from something. Um... Something like that T___T

The author of arts is on pixiv here, but be careful, the art has a high rating!

Please, help me find something like that - anything, shoujo, shounen, hentai - I want to see a character like this SO MUCH!

Out of 3 pages, I've only seen ''Hatsukoi Limited (Hatsukoi Gentei)'' recommended once. So I'd like to promote/recommend this anime again.
The anime is about girls who are in high school (pretty sure grade 10) finding their true love. It has humor (but not as much as ''School Rumble'') in it, and it ends in a happy ending (which is nice because if it's a bad ending, you (or rather I) get that annoying heavy, sinking, depressing feeling afterwards).

Also, I need some recommendations of anime and manga that has the same ''genre'' as Hatsukoi Limited. So, high school or middle school ages, moderate humor (not as much as School Rumble), and ends in a happy ending (like..the protagonists actually goes out afterwards or something). Please say next to the recommended titles, if it's a manga or anime please.

For the sake of humor, School Rumble is absolutely tops. It's not so funny that the actual romance get's put on the back-burner, but it's also not so serious to where the humor is shoved aside.

Toradora! was probably suggested a few times already but it really is a great show. The characters are identifiable, the situations are believable, and it doesn't take itself too seriously.

Thanks Heroic for the suggestion. I have watched Toradora! and I agree that it's a great show. But I've watched it before and the ending type (marriage right after school) just doesn't suit me. The anime's ok but yea, the ending kind of gives me an ''ugh'' feeling. So if you can suggest anything else, please =D

Zero no Tsukaima is similar in a lot of aspects, but has a fun twist to it in the form of magic. Sort of like a Harry Potter setting.

One of my personal favorites is Kannagi I can't really compare it to anything because it's so special in it's own right, but it basically has the romance. The male protoginst stumbles upon a girl who happens to be a sacred diety. She lives with him from that point on and that's where the fun starts.

Kannagi seems interesting enough but I was actually looking for high school/middle school type of romance, where the setting is just in the school or neighbourhood area, and the genre is pretty down to earth (so no magics =P). So yea, like Hatsukoi Gentei or Lovely Complex. Stuff like ToLoveRu, School rumble, Zero no Tsukaima, etc, I DO like them but for me the depth of the romance is almost gone due to excessive use of humor and magic. But hey, thanks for suggesting xD

The closest I've seen when it comes to rape must be B Gata H Kei. Basically about a very, very horny girl who wants to have 100 sex buddies. Her only problem is that she's a virgin, so she sets of to pop her cherry on some average generic dude who just happens to like her. You guess where the romance comes in from there xD The ending is rather disappointing though - too little character development in the end and too much focus on the screwing... Oh, and if you want to know if they end up having intercourse, go watch the anime yourself ^_^ Lol. So much for reviewing...
