Is food fun?

My friend phillip said, in some conversation, that food can be fun.

I do not think so. Food is not fun, it is food. At most it can be interesting.

What do you think? Can food be fun to eat? Can it be fun at all?

Have you ever eaten food that's passed its expiration date? Running to the bathroom and making it is pretty fun. I don't think it's fun because it's often just a carcass lying there with its eyes looking at me...

Some food can be fun, like making a cake can be fun if yu know how. It's fun because you can add all kinds of designs to it and stuff. Though it can also be a lot of work and sometimes you don't have all day to enjoy it.

I find trying new foods to be a fun thing. Really amazingly delicious foods that are so amazing they fill you with instant joy are fun too.
