I seen only a little of Gundam Seed, but I loved Gundam Wing. The storyline was great, the fights were awesome and the ending was beautiful. I recommend watching Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz for the full storyline after you finish Gundam wing itself.

There are few of differences between Gundam Seed and Gundam Wing.
Differences
1/Different universes. Neither one is set in the same universe with Gundam Wing taking place in the after colony timeline and Seed being in the Cosmic Era Timeline.
2/Characters. Gundam wing takes place between two groups of people one in space and one on earth. Gundam seed chronicles war between Naturals (Ordinary humans) and Coordinaters (Genetically engineered superhumans)
3/Themes. Gundam seed carries the theme of basically designer people and sciences quest for perfection and how it can affect the future. Gundam wing has alot more of the idea that good and evil are really a matter of perception (With no real "Evil" antagonists so to speak)
4/Science. Gundams in Gundam seed and wing look similar but operate in different ways and are made of different materials
Similarities
1/Themes. Like all Gundams they share a basic anti war theme throughout the show
2/Gundams. Both shows have Gundams... go figure

ok now i get it thanx alot MangaFanGuy ^^

hi this is my first reply so i didnot see gundam seed but i saw its trailer but i saw gundam wing many times and i think gundam wing is more exciting and when you see one ipisode you want to see the second and i guess its more humantly and it has a great love story in it to but each other can admit it so its cute
this my opinion
accept my passing
I'd like to add to MangaFanGuy.
Differences
5/ Wing Protagonists switches sides more times than you can count.
6/ Added more obvious energy gauges and the PS armor to SEED.
7/ All the protagonist in Wing can easily destroy hundreds of Mobile Suits.
8/ Coordinators where in Wing doesn't have genetically enhanced pilots.
9/ A crazy antagonist (Ra La Creuset) VS Noble honorable (Zechs/ Trieze).
10/ My favorite one: SEED has the bellyacher Kira where in Wing the more focused Heero Yuy.
Similarities
3/ Both have Kickass Songs.
4/ Both are great!!!

People say that "Endless Waltz" was a separate movie. It is the sequel to the series, that was broadcasted in Toonami as an OVA. My point is, remember Wufei's sideswitch with Trowa in the Barton Foundation? I'd say Wing has the most side switches out of all. If I'm wrong, then aww... I haven't seen many all, so I based my opinion on experience alone. I walk the path of a Gundam Pilot.
Sure, they weren't "Serious" about it, but they fought one another so many times(When Wing 0 enters the picture) because of the Zero System, so it seemed like they did. There was even an instance when they were "forced" to switch, like Heero and Trowa's brief "defect" to pilot Vayate and Mercurius.

Again, Trowa infiltrated OZ but he was still allied with the other Gundam pilots. Heero didn't "defect" to OZ either. They needed a good pilot for the Vayeate so they used him but had a self-destruct device installed that Trowa could trigger.
Quatre fought Heero and Trowa in the Wing Zero briefly but that was because of the system and his fragile state of mind. They were still allies.
In EW, Trowa infiltrated the Mariemaia Army to gain information but he never switched sides.
Other than Wufei joining the Mariemaia Army in EW, no Gundam pilot changed sides.
